Why do people keep saying the Late Models are not running at FMR.......Its my understanding there have been 2,3,or 4 there every race......LOL......and it also states on FMR's website that All Divisions Are Running.......Me personally I'll be at FCS

There has been crates and lates at FMR, just about every race. And all the talk about RTR carried over to the T>V> show from a caller and French said he was extremely happy that they had a good car and fan count, so I guess my question would be: they race on Friday nites so why compete with them next year? Keep it Saturday night at FMR and drivers get a chance to race at both tracks..jmo

Never seen where Fmr actually promoted any late model races this year. 2 crates and sometimes 2-3 lates and 1 super all running in 1 race is something I have never seen @ the track in years past. But that's what you get for not promoting late model racing. On FMR web page it does have results for the crates. 2 cars? LOL. My bad about mentioning a local businessman by his name. French denied it ever took place only because I mention his name. Good luck on your support class racing this weekend. Just remember you are only drawing support class race fans.

Doc's post under What's everyone doing explains what happened when he tried to get the late models there this coming weekend. Just wanted to clarify what exactly was said. I do hope that we will again see a fully sponsered and promoted Late Model race at the track again.

Yes, when i went last time, it was 1 late model, and 2 crate Late Models. I hope some more late models would come up and put on a good show.

Keep it Saturday night at FMR and drivers get a chance to race at both tracks..jmoI never mentioned FMR changing their race night. What I said about them competing with other local tracks that race on Saturday nights all run a late model class or even two classes of late models. My point is FMR is the only local track that is NOT promoting an advertised LATE MODEL RACE. I feel that because of this, it is their main reason for low fan turnouts. I had cars that raced there and I even raced there myself several years back. I want to see the track succeed but featuring support class race cars only draws a limited fan base. Gary
