ray you and steve come on up to rolling thunder raceway it is a flat oaklevel and it is wet and no dust just the way you like it.

ya, at least one time, they can race good on it, same size as Clarys.

robertson racn14 i have never been to clarys. but we went to rtr raceway sat it was the best race i have seen all year in all classs .i wood love to see stave and ray and all the drivers come up and i wont to see terrycardwell the stroker come on up to.

People told us that it was enough fans there that it could fill the 311 Speedway up. It was some good racing up there, i hope it stays that way, It would be great if some of the big name Late model drivers come up there like Ray and Steve.

I would guess that the post is here because Clary's if off this weekend.....and from what I heard about this past Friday at RTR, that's a place we're gonna want to check out......

That place does sound like it is hopping good.Maybe one night Ray and Steve can come up that way and put on a heck of a show

Are they going to run on fri or sat night regular , as for terry caldwell , he sold his car thats what i heard but that track sounds like one that we would like to run on when we get back to racing . gungun johnny stovall racing:fingers_crossed:

Sorry, i don't know, but i would try to go to Map Quest and click on Directions and put the address/city in and it will show you how many miles and min, away from there.

Well i dont know how far from Clarys. But from Brodnax, its about 3 hours and 25 minutes.

well, I was guessing that it would be around 3 or 4 hours.....I used to send some of our trucks up that way......not that far for a Friday night show........

naw not far at all for a friday... we are definitely thinking about going up that way before the year is over.

marcia it is about 40 miles from 311 take 704 to 772 turn right go to #8 turn right go about 5 miles and turn left on 103 toward mt.airy go about 8 miles and turn right on 773 a store called 103 sure-stop will be on your right go 7 miles on 773 and as soon as you pass blue ridge elementart school turn right on friends mission rd. first drive way after you cross the river please bring lawn chair and you will see some good racing.

thanks for the info, we will be at the beach this weekend, and have the NBED next Friday, but if we can get the kinks worked out of the car, we are thinking seriously about a mid September trip there to race...

Hey John what route would you take, Anywhere close to Raleigh? I could meet you somewhere after work and we can ride up there.
I get off every Fri in Sept at 12:00 noon except the 28th I get off at 4:00 that day unless I switch with someone..:animal42:

There is a good flying J truck stop right were 40 meets 85. We could me there eat of course lmao and ride together the rest of the way?
