First and formost remember this..........I am only human.......

As a sports official it happens more often than not, you catch the retalliation, not the initial foul.

Super stock 4's............On lap one when the D2 was spinning everyone checked up except for the 12, I believe that he saw the 00 infront of him and decided not to lift. I warned him under the yellow, and knowing William, I beileve that was the end of it.

The Second caution was for the D2 AGAIN spinning in trun 4....... I held the yellow for a few seconds, thinking he was going to get turned back around, I was watching the D2 the entire time. He did not restart, so I threw the yellow. ( Brett Clary......Just a FYI for you the yellow was for the D2 not the 5)

Being I was watching the D2 to see if he was going to be able to get going I did not see what happend in turn 1 & 2 between the 5 and 00.
After I threw the yellow, I looked to 1 & 2 and saw the five turned to the infield. Next thing you know he shoots across the grass and runs into the side of the 00.

Then and There no doubt in mind the 5 is done for the night. When I threw the Black flag for the 5, I was told that if I Black flagged the 5 the 00 would have to be black flagged also as he spun the 5 intentionally under the yellow. I did not see this happen so I had to place my trust in the other track official..... I asked him several times, and this is what he saw and believed.

I will say this, Gary did not know who was in the 5 until after I spoke with him on the track. History being what it is, Gary does not usually run anybody dirty. Thats all I have to say about that.

Now as far as the sportsman race............ I was turned around talking to the tower, after the yellow came out for the 99. I did not see what happend on the back stretch between the 99 and 39, but I did see the 39 hit the 99. I was just about to throw the Black for the 39, when radio traffic once again said if I black flag the 39 I need to throw it for the 99 also.

After consulting all of the track officials and talking to DY, who proclaimed that he was having break problems, and that he was pumping the breaks, and the 99 ran into him, but also when he was trying to catch back up to the 99 and ran into him, he claimed that his breaks did not work........(take it for what it is worth) I spoke to Kelly via phone today and he said that he was going to rub Dy and show his dissapproval for spinning him, but Dy did slam on the breaks and he hit him hard instead of just rubbing him.

So after some reasoning with the other track officials I decided to let them both slide, giving DY the benefit of the doubt that his brake issue was for real,........more convincing I gave him 1 lap to check his brakes between the ministock and super stock race.

Puresotcks.................I saw the 82 and 16 bumping on a restart........along with several others.......If someone slams on thier brakes infront of someone, I have a hard time faulting the guy behind him.

As far as what happend to the 07 that was just a bad break, it happend under green. Just wrong time at the wrong place. I dont think we can balme what happend to him, on anyone or anything.

Superstreet.........Hate that Dan's motor let go, not sure why the 3 did not let go of the 11 and spun him on the first lap or two, but I guess cream rises to the top and Buddy ended up winning.

Modifieds...........Hate the 1 did not make the start........Not sure why the 22 stopped on the track to bring out the yellow, then kept going, causing the 1 to go to the rear. To bad he could not get back on the lead lap and we could have had a race for 1st between the 1 and 32.

On a up note............. Good race for the ministocks......Brian Thiede drove a very clean race, and could have done the wrong thing at any time........

Late Models.........Wow after Blackburn passed Tucker he checked out. Good racing, hate to see the 91 get tied up in that early wreck.

I do promise one thing............I will not turn around anymore under yellow and talk to the tower, and if there is ANY INTENTIONAL CONTACT UNDER CAUTION, the driver will be BLACK FLAGGED and DQ with no money or points.

Well I hope that everybody gets thier cars back together and come back after having a week off.

How many times has your name come up in ANY of my post, as it would seem for some reason I have become more important to you then you have to me. Trust me, I don't mean to be a thorn in your side, nor to anyone for that matter, but please, let sleeping dogs lie. I had almost shut the pc off and went to bed until I see your little post with MY name mentioned in the first couple lines, as if to beg a response out of me. But FYI, the spin with the 00 & 5 happened at the same time as the D2 spinning which means the 00 spun the 5 before the yellow was ever thrown whether the thought had went through your mind or not, so how can that be considered him spinning the 5 under caution??? If you couldn't see them or the entire track from the flagstand, how can you expect them to see the D2 and the rest of the track from inside a car???

As for the 1 car, theres no way he was one lap down, everyone around me was saying the same thing, atleast 3-4 laps down. I guess that why it takes 45 mins to run a 20 lap race. So from now on instead of just turning around and asking "how many laps yall think we dun ran?" update your scoring a little, so a man who misses the first 4 laps of a race, can't come out and pass the leader once and finish on the lead lap.

And as everyone knows, "my brakes went out" is the first thing thats comes outta every driver's mouth who spins a guy. I don't know what ya'll use to communicate, but the cans on a string aren't working... and appearently thats all you use, cuz theres no sense in turning around to talk on a radio, when you use your home phone, do you face in the direction of your buddy's house that your calling?

And by the way, FYI, you thinking that the 07 damage I was commenting on was from what happened later in the race jsut further proves how ignorent you are, the main damage on the 07 came from ole Boyd parking on the back stretch causing a chain reaction throught the 82,8, and 07, which he got the worse end of and and I
'm sure hed back me up on that. And the 16 continued on racing without a care and without getting black flagged. But I guess you didn't see that either, you must have been turned around talking on your can again.

Please, don't think I'm gonna respond to anything you post from now on, I hate to break your little heart but your gonna have to end this little crush you've seemed to developed on me, I'm not about to reply to anything you post as long as you don't direct it towards me or put my name in it. Just do me a favor, you don't have to respond, just take a step back, and look at this post as if it were to another track, and you'd see, everything I've said is the truth, and you, just like everyone who reads this, knows it is. So take it as bashing, take it as educating, take it as whatever you like. I try my best not to make waves, and I've defended this track and faught tooth and nail outside of this forum against people bad mouthing Clarys, but I feel like i've been called out, not by my first name, but me entire name. For what? For telling it like it is? I've made nothing up. So if it means getting banned, getting parked for a couple weeks, who cares at this point. Right now I could really care less who I make mad, who I make cry, or who gets any enjoyment outta this little discussion. Just please, as I've said already, leave my name outta anything you post, or as I've done now, I will respond. I'm not the type of guy to run his mouth, or hide behind some screen name. I was raised where if you've got to stand behind your words, and say what you think is right. And sadly, since this is the only dirt track within 4 hours of me, I will probly be there 2 weeks from now, I'll most likely be around Kent wrights pit or the flying 11's, feel free to come to me anytime, I'm not hard to pic out I hide from no one. I'm white, 6'3 240 pounds and will mostly like be wearing a Braves cap and brown boots. Get with me and we'll take a walk(no you can't hold my hand) an I've tell you exacly what me and about 100+ other people "think" as you say.. we saw in a gentlemanly fashion, not just two screen names jabbing back and forth.

As you already know...

My names BRETT CLARY, and whether you like it or not.

I TELL IT LIKE IT IS...

Charlie - I wasn't there last night but I do know that you do a great job there at Clarys. Like you said - human's are not perfect, you just do the best you can. You are an excellent official, but no matter what, EVERYONE makes mistakes. Like I said, I wasn't there last night so I didn't see those particular incidents, but I've been there enough to know that Clarys is lucky to have you up there on the flagstand.

And there he is, complete with the glasses that give him "super-site"

Thanks Charlie but I just wanted to let some know that were wondering that it wasn't my engine that let go, it was clutch, transmission and release bearing. I hope one particular person will read this:

***To that person and you know who you are. I hate to disappoint you with this news since you were outwardly cheering and stating(yelling) that you hoped my engine blew. That is about the worst display of sportsmanship and bad taste but I wouldn't expect any different from you. See you all back very soon.

OK, I am gonna throw in my 2 cents on this one, not that it really matters to some people......

Charlie is ONLY one person and he absolutely cannot see everything......he has explained why a couple of calls were made the way they were due to the fact he didn't see what happened and had to go by what another track official told him......

As for DY and Kelly, believe me if they had really wanted to rough each other up there would have been two torn up cars.....I am inclined to say give the benefit of the doubt on this situation because an explanition was given and the man took a lap to test the brakes......

I know from working with Charlie the two years I did that he has no favorites, they are all numbers when they get on the track which is the way it should be.....

Not every call is gonna go the way each and every driver or fan wants it to, but in the end all you can hope for is a wash at the end of the season and the majority being saitisfied with a good season of racing.......you will never please everyone, it's just not humanly possible......

And Brett, I know you were not directing your earlier comments towards Charlie as an individual but towards the general track officials as a whole.......
