When can we get a full run down of Friday's racing? Congrats on putting on a great opening night show. Loved the crate late model race and the late model race too. They are what I pay my money to see. Also great racing in all the other divisions also. Good to see full car counts in every class and the huge fan turnout. I got my hotdogs before they were all gone. Keep up the great work guys, I believe you all have got it together. Look forward to the next race.

The 14 crate late model put on a show himself toting the front left tire from turn 2 ALL the way down the back straight. I know he got the nose of his car torn off and was wondering where he finished. Dennis Branch is the driver. Noticed alot of the late models carrying the front left too. That kind of racing really get's people pumped. I was also surpised at the 2-3 wide racing all around the track. And what about Austin Dillion(Richard Childress grand son) . Anybody want to add to my excitement at RTR's first race?

I think I counted 12 Late models and either 9 or 10 crates. Anyway it was great racing and we'll be back this Friday!

wonder how they did as far as attendance and money goes - from what I saw they had a great night - esp at the consession stands their must have been 60 people deep all night long.

I haven't heard any numbers, I do know we underestimated on food and run out during heat races...People are saying 3500 or so but I would say that is way high. I do know the hillside was pretty full, and it was good to see the racefans enjoying the racing, and the drivers having fun for a change.

I dunno bigkid, that's about the number we were thinking too. Let's just say all of the "official" seating area was full, the hill along the tower was full and in many places 3 or more deep, there were people parked up on the hill on the back of their pickups, not counting all the people in line for concessions, bathroom, and those in the pits. Trust me, it's no understatement when everyone says the place was PACKED! :88nd:

I will have to agree with that. I turned around one time and saw all those people and said that word that wrestler Ron Simmons uses on WWE Raw....lol..
I know a few drivers have actually called the track this weekend and said thanks to the Nester's for building the track. And the roads up to the track have been full of cars checking the place out all weekend.

I made the journey to Ararat, and I give a big thumbs up! the track seemed very competitive, except for 1 & 2 but for the first night I can't complain. Keep up the good work, its nice to see a track where drivers can really put on a show for the fans, and I like the fact that the inside area of the track is open and you can see the entire track! Looking forward to this weekend....
