That was a good race lots of good hard racing. But Ray Tucker and Steve Blackburn relly went at it for many laps. All clean hard racing. Blackburn spoke of his respect for Tucker. I for one enjoyed seeing them race each other. Hope to see it many more times. And to Chris Marshall on third place good run.

I was cheering for Steve the whole race, I knew if he could ever get by Tucker in turn 2 he would be gone.. And he did once he made the pass he checked out..

Sure did hate to learn that Ray Tucker had a flat right rear tire. Just glad that he was able to finish 2nd.

Yeah....ok

LOL that was what i was thinking. it was a good race even though tucker got smoked by blackburn. i think tucker was holding him up cause once he got around him, he was gone. i guess it was the flat tire though:wings_cool:

Ya, mmmm, I don't understand you either! Ray Tucker has beat Blackburn 2 or 3 times up here At the Old Oak Level Raceway last year, and 1 or 2 times down at the 311 Speedway. Ray will get him one of these days specialy if he's driving the 54, there is still some racing left. Blackburn has been the same way too!

Yeah I think the point was that you said he had a tire go flat. Which is completely untrue. Anyone that was there could see that his tire was perfectly fine. Nobody said Ray wasn't going to beat Stevie sometimes.

Well I dont know what happen. I dont think Ray would have a problem with being out run. I just hope we get to see those and the rest putting on the same quality show they did last night. Great run for Chris Marshall (I still got the shirt and I dont think Iam gonna have to wait much longer) Kent Wright had a fast machine and JC Clary can ever get that car to sit and roll through the corners he is gonna be tuff to stop. His stright away speeds last night were the fastest of any car there.

As for the flat tire It could have been goiing flat maybe a more accure why of putting it. But trust if anyone would know what went on with the Zero car it would be Lake Gaston Fans!

ray as a person and driver i have no problem with. i aint taking nothing away from that man. he can wheel a late model. about 90% of his fans are the reason why lots of people dont like him. i like ray. not to big on his fans though. nothing against you. i like you fine.

I would encourage all SLM's to go to Carolina Speedway and support a good cause at the Skyler Trull Memorial Race. That's were I was going until plans changed last week.

cause maybe instead of driving 2 hours down the road, he can drive closer and see a good race just as good if NOT BETTER than he would 2 hours or more down the road.

Very True marcia I jumped for joy (what a sight lmao) when they decided the 25th would be a little vaction time. I have only missied one Skyler Trull race since they started and that was last year and we raced at Clarys. Nothing against CLR but I had all intentions of leaving friday morning and staying in the mountains and driving over to gastonia satrday night. But I coach a 12under pop warner football team and we host a jambore for all the league teams on that day. so I will be tied up with footall untill about 6pm and if all goes right I will be at CLR.
