Hey everyone...I hate to sound like a broken record but here goes...the cars coming into the pit area are starting to build back up again and we need it to stop...please park your vehicles outside the gate and walk in...I have noticed that the vehicles are now holding up the drivers from getting in the pits and being able to get situated and get registered before the drivers meeting and I have had a few of them voice their opinion about this ....so please lets keep them out in the parking lot where they belong..

As for the 4-wheelers..if you bring them to the pits, please watch your speed..I have seen too many going by at high speeds and someone is going to get hurt so help us out with this.
Thank you in advance...Mark Roberts

With the Four-weeler thing. I went to clarys last week and i couldnt believe the way that the guys in the infield were driving them things. If they want to monitor those kinds of things they need do that with the track officials as well. I know there was one guy riding a wheelie. Honestly i dont care what the track officials do but just think if they can do it why not everyone else.

The key to that statement was that they were in the infield...how many fans were in the infield compared to walking around in the pit area..that is where the problem lies..

not only that may or may not be a problem but the race cars come around there flying with a flat or something wrong off the track and i dont care how much of a good driver you are you cant control them that easily. as a driver i know adrealin (not sure of spelling) is flowing strong just need to try and control it a little bit JMO

Some care and caution should be used. BUT the pitts are surpose to be for THE RACE CARS AND CREWS. So the fans and crews need to be paying more attention to the RACE CARS. Thats why some tracks dont have stands or allow kids in the pits to keep the amount of foot traffic down.

this is true no quetions asked period. but i do think some caution should be used. (i have probably opened a can of worms, i just think a little commen sense goes a long ways!) :icon_theduh:

Caution should be used by the people in the pits the driver shouldn;t have to worry about someone walkin around the pits just wantin to look or talk durin a race u gotta get in and out the pits has fast has u can.

last time I went to Clarys them 4 wheelers were flyin around the pits not very wise maybe yall should ban 4 wheelers from the pits if they cant use common sense on em. and as for regular passenger cars in the pits they do hold up drivers from gettin in the pits. I aint sayin that everyone that has a 4 wheeler in there is doin it but the majority of em were.

well as far as the pits being used for cars and crew, well nascar pit road is used only for the cars and pit crew stalls and they still slow down and have to use caution.

They should put a pit stale in the field and give the teams 3 laps to get it fixed if they can.lol

look what happend to Dublin Last year with a four-wheeler.. That will make them think twice about it. And what about the road that runs behind 1-2. I saw kids that were not 16 flying down a State Owned Road. Simple thing is if you wanna bring a 4-wheeler make them pay a permit and have them sign some rules and reg. ( might already do that im not sure) and make it known that their will be fines and suspension for infractions of the rules. That will slow them things down and keep everybody save. Simple thing with the cars. Make them park out front of the track. If you too lazy to walk around to the pits you dont need to be back there. I understand that some teams may bring a big crew but i know those guys have trucks and what not. Make the Cars Park in that little field behind turn 2. Make it first come first serve. WHen it is full have them park in front where the fans are suspose to park. Just my two sense.

don't let this thread get blown out of the water here.I agree there are a few safty things, but some of the people responding to this thread are not here every week, and when I had a flat on the packer car 2 weeks ago the race's were over and most were already gone that don't make it right ,but I got me under control.Hell I seen more race cars come flying in with flats half throttle, But everyone always see them when the come in .My point is if you come in the pits you better be aware of your sroundings as well as any vehicle that are moving. For me personally I know most of my cars are black so I made a change I now have a strobe on the top so people can see me better. Lets fix our problems and not make more. I don't want to stop what I'am doing so if we can let's make things better.

P.S I know its hard to see and hear everything thats happening in the pits ,but for everyone's safty lets all keep a look out for each other in the pits. If you see car car coming in to fast just try to let some know if you see one coming.
