He makes me sick. I literally feel like I could throw up. Anyone who participates in or condones dog fighting is a heartless human being. Maybe they will punish him using the methods he used on those poor, defenseless dogs.

well, i do have a feeling he is going to do a plea bargain and plead guilty because the rest of the guys have turned on him.i mena i would do the same thing if i was in his shoes nad had his money, cause its like me and a friend of mine were talking, he is going to probaly be able to pay his way out of it, i mean at the most i think he will get with the money he has is get a yr in jail.

I don't condone what he did or participated in by any means.........it's all wrong and everyone involoved sould be punished to the fullest extent......Now here's the big BUT......would it have happened this way were it not Michael Vick(someone with a well known name), I can tell you here in VA I think not......people have been arrested around here before for animal fighting and gotten off with only a slap on the wrist, and the articles never even made the front page of the local paper, much less national headlines......this is all about who got caught, not what he got caught doing......I feel anyone caught being involved in something this horrific should be punished and all punished the same way, but I also feel in our society that will never happen because it's all about making a name or destroying one.......I wish the case was about what it should be and that's animal abuse, but in all actuality, it's gotten to be more about a show than anything else......JMO

For those of you who don't remember Marcus(Michael's brother) was quaterback for VA Tech. He had a promising career until he decided he wanted to be a badass. Now he can't even make it out of training camp for the Dolphins(that's not a slam on the Dolphins either Carol..If it were, my papa would come back to haunt me).

i think the ONLY reason michael is pleading guilty is because the other 3 guys pleaded guilty and is going to testify against him and he know deep down he don't have a chance of winning and so he says hey, i do some jail time and pay what ever and get out and i'm hoping that the NFL won't ban him from playing. its not like he was gambling on football.

Yep just heard on ESPN that Vick has agreed to plead guilty and his sentencing could be btwn 1 and 5 years. with no appeal since he is entering a plea deal

RICHMOND, Va. -- Michael Vick's lawyer said Monday the NFL star will plead guilty to federal dogfighting conspiracy charges, putting the Atlanta Falcons quarterback's career in jeopardy and leaving him subject to a prison term.


The offense is punishable by up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine, although federal sentencing guidelines most likely would call for less.

Prosecutors, who were seeking a prison term of 12 to 18 months, have yet to formally agree to the plea, a source told ESPN's Kelly Naqi.

I agree with Marcia 100% on this on.... we only hear about things when its a name to be destroyed. What he done was wrong but why are we hearing so much about it? Because of the name........punish him like you would any other person with the same crime and get it over with.

Okay, I want ya'll to think about this. Vick has money, he could easily pick and walk his way of it. If this were just a regular Joe off the street, he'd have he'd be thrown under the jail by now. So yeah, I do take joy in seeing Vick go through what he's going through right now. It makes it even better that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton's racist asses were slapped in the face for yelling he's innocent. How's that crow there fellas?
