Has everyone had a chance to catch their breath yet?:wow3_nbs:
I know I was ready to do it all over again Monday!!!
What a great night made possible by a lot of giving sponsors and a lot of hard work by the Harding's, the Price's and Marcia Reed. Thank you for doing all that you did to make this a night to remember!!!!
How bout that Nash Brick SLM race!!!!!! Danny Hudson looked like the driver of about 3-4 years ago. Ray Davis JR put down a blistering lap durning qualifying. Everyone better be real happy that Darryl Hills didn't have a very good time trail, cause that car was flying at the end.
Booper Bare rolled in and and did his usual deal: Nothing special in hot laps and a so-so qualifying lap. But like always by the time it was over he is either out front or right there stalking the checkered flag. Hey Booper next time don't be so humble tell em how much work you guys spend on that car during the week and just how good it was lol
A little birdie told me "The Shaker" had just about all the bugs worked outta that 89, but one and it should be flying by Saturday night.
How bout the young man that just about stole the show Saturdays night: Carl Powell what a great run. With three laps to go I thought he might just have it. I would have loved to have heard the roar from the crowd if he would have. I bet it would have sounded like a bomb had went off. Keep digging young man its coming and looks like it may be soon!!!!!!!!
The Super street race may just be the very best race of any class this year. Gotta think Nash Brick and Lake Gaston Motocross for making it just a little more interesting. Buddy Isles did all he could do to get to the front after charging from the back. Great job Buddy!!! Also how bout Nash Brick paying off their end even when they didn't have to just because the race was that dayum good!!!!
My man the "Undertaker"!!!! Been a long time coming but now that Dan Blaylock has found his way back to victory lane, I don't think its gonna be quite as long between visits!! great job!!!!!!!
Kelly Moore you are making my job awful hard here. LOL I try and say a little something about each class each week. But man what do you leave me to say other than somebody has got to step up and catch this man. Started from the rear and passed every car under green flag and then coasted to the win. Nuff said!!!!
Pure Stock V-8 great racing side by side with just the right amount of rubbing thrown in. Not to many cautions either!!! Good job Russell keep digging!!!
Glad to see some of the Super stock 4's back!! Good racing!
The Mini Stock 4's keep that car count going strong!! Glad to see a lot of the cars keep coming out even when the huge money wasn't on the line!!!
The Mod-4's I think Justin hit the nail on the head. I have been saying it over and over, when there's a full field it is some of the most exciting racing anywhere. But you guys are gonna have to build that car count up!!!!
Jerry Jones i am putting you and the bombers in the same category as the sportsman with Kelly Moore. Guys somebody's gotta catch this guy!!
I want to thank Mynameiscarol(Carol Woodruff) and Marcia Reed for helping organizing the fundraiser for the Clay family. To all the drivers who came over to pass the helmets THANK YOU!!!! Booper Bare thank you for the $100 dollars of your winnings Saturday night. But most of all I want to THANK ALL THE FANS whether it was $1 dollar or $100 dollar's it all adds up!!!
Well there it is folks, just my little take on things and a brief preview of the action coming up this weekend!!! So it that famous time again: If you missed it last weekend sorry for ya cause you missed one heck of a night. ARE YOU GONNA MAKE ANOTHER MISTAKE AND MISS IT AGAIN?????? IAM NOT; I AM GONNA BE THERE, ARE YOU??????????????????
