Steve Reading of Steve's Corvette Shop told me yesterday he was told Scott Bloomquist has rented Clary's for 2 days to practice for the upcoming races. I doubt it's true, but it would be nice to has such a big name come to the race.
If anyone could clarify,it would be great. Thanks!

I doubt its true, but maybe Marica will let us know soon. Someone told me the other day that Bloomquiest was coming this weekend which is hard to beleive since the DTWC is this weekend in Ohio.

I can't believe thats a hard choice! $10,000 to win show at Clarys....regular show at CLR! No offense to CLR but "Give me a Break!"

Let's see,CLR is paying $1,000.00 to win in Thunder & Lighting,no entry fee,$20 to get in.Clary's pays $400.00 to win with 11 cars or less, not entry fee,$40 to get in,You do the math, shouldn't be too hard to figure out. So,you give me a break!!!!

No offense to County Line at all here...BUT????.....You would rather go to CLR on the 22nd than to a $10,000 to win SLM show(????????????????)

You know if enough of you class T&L or Super Street showed up they would be paying $1,000 to win!
And as far as the $20 in the pits goes at CLR......Are they having at $10,000 to win SLM that night? Didn't think so. Could you imagine all the CLR cars at Clarys the 15th or 22nd? It would be big money in all classes.

There are some drivers out there that would travel to race and pay the cost for a $300 to win show! How many of those guys race at CLR! Guess we'll find out on the 15th,,,,,,,,since CLR is off?:Kill2:

I think iam on princes side on this one boys. If a driver which I belvie he is runs a certin track every sat night I dont care what other tracks were paying another class or charging to get in, I'd run my track. Now as just a fan theres no way I'd be at county line on the 15 and the 22nd.

I understand that.BUT,There is no "if" at CLR that night,it WILL pay $1,000 to win regardless of car count. At Clary's it would take what,20-25 cars to get the purse that high.We have raced at Clary's many times, and we will again, but on the 22nd it would be smarter to be at CLR.

The reason for not having enough cars to pay $1000 is just because nobodys willing to come to Clarys and they want to make excuses for it. Ok it cost $40 to get in the pits. You got what a $15,000 race car, whats $20 more dollars?

Who has a $15,000 race car??? I sure $15,000 would buy both the L2 and 07 Thunder & Lighting cars from us!!! No excuses from us .I'm just saying that CLR is 5 miles from Mr. C's house and we will not have to worry about care count affecting the purse.Clary's is a great track.Hell, that's where we started racing at all those years ago. We will be at Clary's this week(helping Greg Williams#03),but at CLR on the 22nd. All i was saying was if you want to see a great late model race,go to Clary's,if you have a super street or thunder & lighting car, come to CLR($1,000 to win, with 10 cars or 20 cars) on the 22nd.

We took our old car(now the 97 in super stock) to the last race at Clary's last season and Britches was running 4th in the Sportsman race before overheating problems took him out. That was a stock chassis car running with the tube chassis sportsman cars.Needless to say,we were very happy with that, just wish he could have run the whole race.We run good every time we go to other tracks, but CLR is right in the car owner's back yard.Hard to talk him in to going to other tracks.
