I just want to take the time to personally thank everyone for all of the donations for Robert Clay and his wife Candy last night. You guys totally went above and beyond anything I dreamed of by helping us raise $1329.00 for them. You guys are the best and words really can not convey how touched I am by your generosity!

I want to thank Jhoffical (John) for all of the promotion last night and getting the word out to the fans and driver's. Without you, this would not have been possible.

Missy and Dwayne for allowing me to go through the stands to collect money for Robert.

DirtChaser (Keith) for taking his personal possessions and raffling them off, walking through the pits and grandstands for the majority of the afternoon and night to help raise money. That was a very nice thing you did and I'm just touched that you would do that.

Jason (car 22 Stock V-8), Kent, Chigger, Booper and Ray Davis Jr. for going grandstand side and passing their helmets through the stands for the fans to donate and taking time away from preparing their own car to help
someone that they do not know. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Darryl Hills for donating the 2 t-shirts that were raffled off by DirtChaser. Hope to see you back at the Ring Of Fire soon and picking up one of those bricks!

Kenny Brown for allowing me to take his 4 wheeler a few times to go over to the grandstand side and for your donation. You're one of the sweetest people I have ever met and I'm so glad to be able to call you my friend.

Jeff at Nash Brick for the dishes and clothes. Along with the support you already give for the SLM class at Clary's, to go out of your way to help get items for Robert & Candy was more appreciated than you know.

THE AWESOME FANS!! I could not think of a better place to be on a Saturday night where I am surrounded by such awesome people! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

Chucky Taylor for the offer to go over insurance policies and answer questions that Robert & Candy may have. You're a big teddy bear and I love ya!

JC Clary for allowing me to camp out at your pit and collect stuff for Robert & Candy and your donation. You're a stand up guy JC, and someone that others should model themselves after. THANK YOU!!!

And last but not least, Marcia Reed. Thank you for the clothes and the donation that you made. You're an absolute doll and I love you to death!!! Without your help, I wouldn't have been able to pull this together. Thank you for going above and beyond for everyone that attends Clary's and for simply being you!!!!

If I missed anyone, I am truly sorry. I am so overwhelmed by all of the well wishes, the donations and the heartfelt actions by each and every person in attendance last night. Robert and Candy thank you all as well. If anyone forgot or just didn't get a chance to get over to me last night, or if you clean out that closet or cabinet and find you don't need stuff and want to donate it to them, please feel free to contact me via PM and I can answer any questions you may have.

Thank you all again!

Carol, we also need to thank you for being the person that you are.....you are always willing to help when needed and last night is yet another example of your kind heart and generous spirit. You know we truly love you and Randall.

And between Clary's and CLR it really show what I have known for years.......DIRT TRACK RACERS AND FANS ARE A FAMILY......I am sure most of the people who made donations don't have a clue who Robert and Candy are, but they stepped up to help someone in need......

Man over $2,000 dollars That is AWSOME I was glad to play a small part. Didn't really do anything but run my big mouth. The ones who deserve the Pat's on the back are all those people who gave at both tracks!!!! I cant think of anything I'd rather do than to help out others who through no fault of their own find themselves in a tragic situation. I had a smile on my face last night watching those guys walk through and collect that money and when I got home last night and read the post about CLR that put a smile on my face again till I went to sleep. Then early this morning I got a PM from Carol telling me the total amount from Clary's fans last night I have had this grin on my face all day!!!

It just goes to show what kind of warm hearted special people that are into racing. No matter who takes who out or fights or who my Favorite driver is VS yours or even which track you prefer over another. When its crunch time everyone steps up and pulls together when a member of the fraternity is in trouble. Everyone should be so proud!!!!

I for one was glad to help . It can happen to any of us at any time. Just good to see people care for others in time of needs. Racers and race fans are the best . Hope everything goes well for the family. And nice to meet some new people behind these LRC names.

glad to see the "family" come together in a time of need for another being. Robert is a class act himself. Always a sweet person to me when I've spoken to him. Hate to hear that things happened to him and I wish them the best in this situation. Hopefully things will get back on track for him real soon and he is back to the race tracks real soon
