Well, as someone who just came to watch tonight, I had a great time. I was pleasantly surprised to see such a big crowd out there. All of the staff were friendly and it was such a fun, laid back atmosphere. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back! :thumb:

I think it'll be a packed house friday night, that's what I think. I also think I need to look into finding me an older Rocket to throw together. Looked like fun to me, reminded me of Taylorsville. I'm impressed.

We had a good time. Felt good to sit back and watch for a change.

Real good turnout I thought. I was glad to see alot of folks that I haven't seen in awhile. Alot of drivers there without cars..

Track stayed together good too. I believe opening night will be a packed house. The Welch and Nance cars looked GOOD!!

Hey guys and ladies,

I think Alisia's puter is still crashed. (not the electronic way but the hit the floor with a loud thump way.) On behalf of Rolling Thunder Raceway we would like to thank every driver, car owner, and racefan that came out tonight. I didn't get to talk to many but I do appreciate all the kind words. Gary has worked his can off, and to see drivers smiling and giving a thumbs up whule coming off the track, I'm sure will make it worth while. We did have a problem in turn one, but we do know why it happened and it will be better next Friday night. How about that sprint car carring the front wheels down the straight?
Thanks to you all, and hope to see yall next week.

We've ran mini stock #9 up there and had a blast it was fun. Once everyone get used to the track it will be one fast little track quick reactions and driving. Also I think it challanging aslo on set-ups. I thought it was going to be a lot of stop and go track but i was wrong you can actully go wide open all round if you're hooked up. Great job RTR raceway. See ya next Friday.

Good to see ya last night Cheezy, I think everyone had a good time. We will not always be able to make everyone happy (we will try our best) , but from what I am hearing it did happen last night. I talked to Alisia this morning and I know they are very happy to see the turn out we had and hear all the kind words. We need racers and fans to make Rolling Thunder Raceway a success, we will always remember that.

A big thumbs up to you guys on track prep. After this week of 100+ degrees, no dust from the track at all. Just talked with RL Young and Jeff Young and they are planning on bringing their SLM Friday. Mike Young had his late model there and all he could do was smile. Everyone seemed to love it. Congrats. Should be some great racin next Friday.

Track was awsome thanks for building us a track so close to home. Cant wait to bolt on some new tires and realy go at it. Very intersting layout way wider than it looks from outside the track. Its a drivers track for sure. See yall Friday.

I'd have to say except for the hole in turn 1 .. It was perfect, Great Job
I Look foward to racing there.. I've been out of a car since '95 felt great
to be back in the seat. never drove a 4 bar either, very interesting felt
good though, the tight track will keep you busy with the car. It's gonna
be fun. I wanna to Thank everyone there.. I'm gonna to try to get as many
as I can to come... Hope others do the same...

You never know, The Taylorsville Tiger as the fans nicknamed me may show up before long. It looked like way too much fun to be watching and not driving. I was looking at buying a car for Rolling Thunder only till last night, now I gotta scrape up money to fix what's left of what I've got. Be glad to see my buddy Wildchild back on the track, he definately lives up to his nickname, and yes, he's throwed some smack down at Taylorsville also!!
