Sorry about being so late folks but this has been one busy week. But its almost time, in about 24 hours from now we should know who took home the check for $3,000 dollars along with all the special awards!!!
First the bad news. Ricky Elliott will NOT be at Clary's Saturday night as far as I know. There were several people in contact with Ricky all week. Up until Late Wed night he had all intentions of being here. Well they found motor trouble when they fired the engine Wed night. The article I posted on here and other sites were written for the Daily Herald in RR. They had a 10pm deadline Tuesday night. So if there's anyone to blame I guess it me, but when you are dealing with racing things are always subject to change. The race goes on!!!
We are blessed with a great field of highly competitive Nash Brick SLM's every week. Now throw in Ray Tucker, Ray Davis, Darryl Hills and Booper Bare. Also there make be some more surprises. We should be in for a heck of a show!!!
This race would not have been possible without the hard work of Dewayne & Missy Harding, Marcia Reed and Lauren Price. You have no idea how much work goes into finding sponsor's to help increase a purse. Also the reason Sponsor's were needed is the gate and pit admission will be the same as every week. Most tracks (those of you who travel to different tracks like I do) know that almost every other track raise the gate prices to cover the cost of a race like this. So when you see these folks tomorrow be sure to thank them for all the effort that has gone into making this race happen!!!!
How bout Buddy Isles SR and them Nash Brick Guys? lol They know how to keep something going don't they? I cant wait to see if Buddy can charge the Bull from the rear lol. Still not sure how he came up with that one. I calling all Super street cars be there. Lets have about 10-12 of you guys and make Buddy have to really work to keep and get that extra money!!!! Who thinks he can do it?
All my Mini Stocks thanks for the show last week. That was a heck of a turn out. I know there were a lot of cars from some other tracks that probably wont be back this week and that is OK. But if you are not racing somewhere else, make sure you come back this week and continue to show your support!!
All I have to say about the Super Stock 4's is I can see and understand some of your points. But racing has got to be more fun than staying at home. Hope to see a full field of you guys this week!!!!
Pure stock V-8 you guys sure added a lot of excitement this last weekend. Lets have a good safe race this weekend. Leave that other stuff alone. Doesn't matter who's at fault if anyone. Last week is over and done. Bring em back and you guys put on a show!!!
How about the field of Mod 4's we have had lately. Keep it up guys you are doing a great job.
Eric Hobgood sure was glad to see you back last week! Iam not so sure Kelly Moore was lol Iam just joking folks Kelly is a racer and I know he loves having good hard competition. With Eric back and Trevor, Ryan, Spud and hopefully Jimmy Pearce and Jamie Stevenson back the sportsman action should be great.
So in closing Iam gonna ask you the same question I ask every week. If the answer is no or I am not sure, then I don't know what to tell you cause you are missing one of the best shows for your money around!!
