Friday August 10th is Season Championship night for Late Models, Modifieds, Street Stocks and Hornets. Season Championship is sponsored by Michlig Ag.
The points are tight in a few classes, these championship races should be some good hard racing, and just a reminder:
Season Championship line up is "heads Up", starting positions are determined by overall points.
As stated in a previous post, we will also be running an additional class: B-Mods.
The B-Mods are sponsored by Princeton Auto Repair and Motorcycle Shop.
Butch Dunn will be bringing "Doc Hudson" (The replica of The Hudson Hornet from the movie Cars) to the track once again;
we may get to see another exibition by "Doc".
Late Model Drivers Will Harris and Scott Lemke have donated and autographed 2 bikes to be given away.
Late Model Driver Jason Jaggers will be on hand at the front gate with his car to meet fans
(we are also hoping to have Rich Bell and other point leaders out front as well).
The tire changing machine will be out front, anyone wanting to try their hand at a timed tire change can do it (no charge),
the person with the fastest time at the end of the challange will receive a prize.
Goodie bags will be handed out at the gate (while supplies last) to fans coming in.
When fans pay for their admission, they will also be given a ballot to vote for the Fan Favorite Driver (one vote per ticket bought).
When drivers check in they will be given a ballot to vote for: Best appearing car in each class, Sportsman of The Year and Hard Luck driver.
The voted awards are given out at the annual banquet, held in November.
