I'm guessing it's OK to post a question / idea regarding bounties in this forum since it's filled with drivers, fans, track promoters (official or not) and track officials.
I'm wondering if it would be a good idea, if given enough notice prior to an event where a bounty is posted, if putting together some kind of bounty flyer would be beneficial to everyone involved. The flyer could be posted on the track's website, here on LRC, and printed on small sheets of paper for fans at the track so that they'll know exactly what's going on and who's involved in sponsoring the bounty. They hear it over the PA, but having company names and info on a sheet of paper seems to be a good take away.
The key to putting together a flyer would be getting all the information together early enough prior to the event to have time to edit the flyer and get it posted and printed. If it's too expensive to print, the flyer could still be placed strategically at the track and posted on the track website and LRC.
I'm attaching an example (using real company names and cars) to see what folks think. It's a terribly rough draft that I put together in a few minutes. I didn't get permission to use the names and photos in this example so if anyone has a problem with it, I'll quickly remove it.
I'd be glad to spend a little time putting these together if folks think it would be useful.
