If some of you are not familiar with how some of the things work here, check out these two cool features.

The http://www.localracechat.com/forums/images/bluesaint/buttons/post_thanks.gif Button.

Every time a member starts a new thread, there will be a Thank User button on the first post. If you find that post useful or helpful in anyway click the http://www.localracechat.com/forums/images/bluesaint/buttons/post_thanks.gif Button.. It's a great way to tell someone thanks..

You can see your thanks under your post count in a post or in your member profile.

How do I view my own profile?
Click the Quick Links up top and then click the My Profile button.

Give a user Reputation (Karma) <--- Same thing

Almost the same as saying thanks but a little different.

Every single post has a http://www.localracechat.com/forums/images/bluesaint/buttons/reputation.gif Button at the top.. If you like or dislike a post you can give that member Rep.. You can either approve or disapprove, leave a comment why you like it or not, comments are not mandatory.. When a members rep goes all the way across 5 yellow pips then one Late Model is given.. If you get BAD rep then you loose cars. You can look in your User Control Panel (User CP) to see when you received your last rep. CLICK HERE (http://www.localracechat.com/forums/usercp.php) Wanna know how you stack up to the other members? Click the MEMBER LIST (http://www.localracechat.com/forums/memberlist.php) link up top then click the word REPUTATION and it will sort from highest to lowest or vise versa.

A site like this is only as strong as the members that use it, so if you enjoy what you read give them posters some rep and thanks..

I don't think you will find another site with the goodies we have here:icon_rock:

When I get back from vacation I will start a features thread in the Help/Site Feedback so if any member would like to know how to do something we can help you out.. But don't wait for me, by all means if you have a question always feel free to ask..:help:

When I updated the forums the actual software that runs the Thanks did not carry over for some reason.. I tried to pull it from the database but after about 4hrs of frustration I called it quits and just reinstalled it.. I know it sucks but I just couldn't spend anymore time worrying with it.. I do know that in the next upgrade they should not be reset, I know what was wrong and know how to prevent it...
