I hope Bobby will give 1 more hobby race, because there were 4 cars up here, that are from Fork Mountain Raceway that were changing there gears to race at 311 this weekend, so there would be more cars this weekend, what if they had 7 or 8 cars show up to race in the hobby class, would he let them race? if they can get the #5, #11, #29, #45, to come back and get some more if you know some that will come, we have 4 that will come and showup at the track, maybe they can race.

Well, ***** changed the rules to get more cars in the class. I had 3 cars there the following weekend that havent been there yet. They was happy. Had 2 cars being built to race in the class. And some from FMR. were coming down soon.
Then I dont know what happened, if you didnt have a stock body you had to add 200 lbs in front of the motor. Then the following week if you didnt have a stock body you had to goto superstreet. What does a body have to do with anything i dont know. My car weighs 3000lb + with no weight added. And that was the weight rule.
Well, now I just dont feel like racing there anymore. Hard to take a car with 2500 dollars in the motor and compete with cars that got 20k in them, lol.
I havent been there in 2 weeks, dont miss it niether. Maybe i will come race again, maybe I wont. I liked FMR when i went, I may go there for their once a month extravaganza... I know im going to check out ARRARAT next month...

Kinda hard to run a class when the rules are constantly changing??!!!!
If you don't run illegal, you can't win.
Bobby Johns don't care about the "Hobby Division" all he wants is the Super Series. Just like French Grimes don't care about nothing but the Sprints.

It ain't cheap to just run super street when your car is PURE STOCK---
Since the super streets were running with the Hobbys I guess Bobby felt he might as well say to hell with it since no true pure stock/hobbys were there but 2-3 cars the whole season!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And what about the few points that were gathered?? I am sure he will dismiss those people too just like he always has.

Such a shame to see this class go to waste as you really got to see some good racing from good people. It surely would have done so much more if given its due chance. Maybe next year folks........................
