I need to know what size bolts fit in the square shifter tabs? I have tried a 3/8 16 and a 3/8 24. Does any one know?

I dont know for sure, but I think they're made in Canada so they
probably metric. I'd guess 8mm x 1.25., but any one selling these
trannys should be able to tell you or sell you some. Good luck...

It's 3/8" fine thread, sometimes you have to clean out the threads in those dead heims, I think they're tooling is a little worn whereever they're making them things, but that's what it is.

Is that why they sound like they are coming apart?

I would assume you're talking about the noise they make riding around under caution, that's actually slap in the front dog gears, they may sound like they're flying apart, but they're a pretty tough ole' piece.

Yup there good tranny's just noisy under caution. I guess as long as they do the job under green is what counts..:36hq:
