hey dirt dawg,my screen name is rjweld 67.

sorry to say this but i wont be back to 311.i really tried but my hands were tied and i really wanted to make a difference there.im not going to say anything but just things didnt work out.

for the past several weeks i tried to make the track a fast and dustless place but i just give up.

i do want to wish all the folks i met and talked with a good year but im afraid it might have to be somewhere else.311 has so much potential but there is no promise for it.

well dawg i really enjoyed meeting you.looks like i gambled and lost so i will be staying in the madison area and working on some cars.if you need anything please feel free to call me my cell # is 334-804-0749.

just some food for thought, you may need to tighten it up now cause i doubt the track will be tacky anymore.

well folks i'll be seeing you at a track somewhere!!!!!

I agree with Doc. It was nice knowing someone was trying to put some effort in the place. It's a shame you're leaving 311, but I know it must be frustrating having to face opposition every time you try to do something right.

well thanks zacharygirl19,and cheezyrider.i appreciate the kind words.

and yes jh official it was real opposing for me.but my dad was the boss so you have to do it his way or no way at all.im not saying he was wrong but look at the record.stands empty and just enough cars on a regular basis to have a good heat race.

i really think if you were to split up the latemodels.you know seperate the crates and the steelheads he would have 20 to 25 cars in both classes and run them both every sat. nite he would bring back a better place to race. i think there are enough of these cars to pack the house.
so many told me they had steelhead cars either racing elsewhere or just werent racing at all.

crates are the racing of the future because they are a strong class and growing down south and up here as well.i mean what you spend on a crate motor and the fact that there are a ton of good latemodel chassis around a poorboy could race well.
look at what a superstreet costs to run,i believe you could build a cratemodel for that.and race for more money.

i really wanted to see the crates running under the rules for the fastrack or stormpay.i think it would bring in more cars from all over and noone has to change to crazy weights or tires or any of the likes.
you would know you could show up and race and be competitive.me as a racer thats what i look at and having a promoter be glad i came to race at his track and put on a good show.make me feel like i couldnt wait to come back again because it was such a pleasure to race there. but some things are just enevitable.

i also wanted to try to build a streetstock class where these young guys could get a better start at racing than have to go from a u-car straight to a superstreet or latemodel.everyone trys these days to make wonderkids.
but let me explain,i mean there are some great kids racing these days but there are some others that are just as great that need a streetstock class to hone thier skills to be great drivers.
i was so impressed with the young guns in the ucars,it is something to see these boys and girls drive around that half mile and race as good as they do.i mean its a half mile, they are carrying some speed in the turns and they are doing something that i wished i could have at thier age.
but really i would like to see them move progressively through racing with the proper steps and one is a good streetstock class you can afford before biting off the chunk for a super.

these are just my opinions and i may not be right but everyone is entitled to thiers.i hope and wish everyone a good and happy racing season.
and again i thank all the nice folks i have been blessed to meet, i enjoyed it.

I myself am glad that at least someone was there trying to make it better for all of us to race. Everyone has their own opinions on the track now and the owner. I can only imagine how hard it was for you!!! I never got to personally meet you myself but I think 2 of my drivers did. I wish you luck!!! Maybe we will get to see you around at another track somewhere. Angel BadBoyz Race Team

thanks so much for these kind words,it makes me feel like what i was doing was worth it.i dont know everything but i didnt just start yesterday in racing, and i can see what racing is and what a driver and fan would want.and good racing and fairness is a key to a successful track.

dont know if i'll ever get to race any but my hopes are still high.i would love to wheel one around some more but i am regrouping and try again to be in racing.its true i can drive a car very well but the almighty dollar holds me and alot of others back but we will see in the near future.
i am looking at putting a shop in near walnut cove and working on some racecars.when i get everything going i will let yall know.

again thank you all for the kind words and i might see yall sooner than later.
