Boyer
Blackburn
Beurer

Was the top three. Calls I got said a lot on crazy driving went on and had to stop the first one to get the ambulance on the track for Billy Hicks. I have no idea what the outcome of that situation was.

My understanding was someone had blown an engine and the yellow was out. Billy was leading and wasn't aware of the caution, came up on the slow/stopped cars and hit the outside wall. Word was that his jaw and side are sore but the brand new car is totalled. Hated to hear of more terrible luck for that team.

Word I got was about what you said EXCEPT Billy did slow down for the caution and Gary East from the rear didnt and hit Billy. Thats what my phone calls said also look here for more updates

Ok, maybe I have a better understanding of the incident now after hearing more info.

GR Smith was sitting on the track at about the flag stand. No caution was out. Hicks was leading, went into turn 1 and was hit from the rear by Blackburn driving the 10 car. My call said it was not Gary East. (??)

That's about what I heard. Except my caller was adamant that it was Gary East lol

Gary East hit him after the fact.Typlical Gary not looking past the end of his nose.As far as GR sitting on the track is false. It all happened on a restart. When GR fired he blew up while leading Billy went low and a few went high.I did'nt see how Billy got wrecked or if he got wrecked.I just caught the tale end of it when Gary slid into him.The car was totalled before East hit him.Gary did'nt hit him that hard.Billy is having some bad luck but i guess all those years of running over and through people are finally catching up with him.GR had a strong run going till his motor let go.I would have liked to seen him win 1.

I can't disagree with you on that cause I did'nt get to see what happened to Billy.I do think that IF Blackburn took him out I would think there would have been some argueing or finger pointing going on in the pits.I did'nt see anything like that going on.So i'm thinking it was some more of Billy's idiot driving cause them to maybe get together?

going into 1 blackburn clipped the left rear of hicks and put him in the wall and yes billy was not very happy with blackburn but he was pretty shook up after. the old man took a about three hard licks .then blackburn blew another engine so he got his too.

oh yeah, billy was in a brand new car, 5 laps on it and it will need both front and rear clips so i guess u can say it was totaled

Dirtmover, you are so full of it.First off they were door to door,so how did he clip his left rear. And to prove my point if indeed he hit his left rear I think that Billy would have spun to the inside not the outside wall.I was sitting in the stands where they go into turn one, when they went into the turn I dont think Billy knew that Blackburn was there and came down the track, the two hit door to door then it looked like Billys left front jumped Blackburns right front and shot him into the wall.A bad deal but by looking at all of your other post that involve Blackburn its easy to see why you would see things the way you do.

Guys, I'm not for or against any particular driver. I was standing inside the first turn and was looking right at this wreck when it happened. There were big ruts in the track that probably played into this, taking away the normal groove. The 10 car got into the rear of the 1H car -- more in the back than in the left rear quarter. It looked more like two cars going for the same turf than anything intentional. The 1H got turned toward the outside wall, hit pretty hard and ended up in the middle of the track. Several cars got by, but the 9 car came up on the wreck in between two other cars. The 9 car slide sideways, probably to minimize the impact, but did hit the 1H car a pretty good lick too. With the ruts and the other cars, I'm not sure that the 9 car had any other choice.

RM69 I didn't see the wreck but my wife did and she decribed basically the same thing. If I am correct the green flag had just been thrown and when the 22 didn't get strated from the pole all the other cars were all over the track trying to avoid him. That's why I didn't see the incident with Billy, I was afraid someone was going to run all over the 22. Hate Billy tore up the car,he sure took one wicked lick.I too feel like track conditions had alot to do with it. Their was no middle grove, just a lower and upper with gullies in between.

Yeah the same thing happen to me and Rob on the last lap (hobby) I was high and he was low we was both bouncing across ruts. Some said I came down on him and I might have, some said he came up into me but he ended up in the wall....I hate it for him but we was both racing for the win. I dont think I've run on that track that bad a shape but 1 other time, it was rough to say the least so its hard to say who put who out. Hard enough just tring to control the car let alone getting into somebody.

Yes on a rough track the car can be a handful. hard enough keeping it straight when your by yourself, much less racing beside someone.

dirtforlife, get the dirt out of your eyes and u might see what really happened. i was going by what billy hicks told me plus what i saw. u can say they hit tires etc. etc. but the bottom line is he took him out and tore up a brand new car and NO I DO NOT LIKE BIG HEAD BLACKBURN he needs to put his feet back on the ground. billy is not the only one hes done that kinda crap to its a few drivers around that OWE him
