It never rained at the track, but about 5-7 miles down the road you could see where it had. GREAT RACING tonight in all divisions! Best races I've seen out there this year!

if i would have known they would get it in i probably would have made the trip up there but with the weather like it was and me being 2 hours away its hard to go with the good chance of rain already forcasted

I can understand your position there, and I am sure that's the same reason allot of cars this year have not made the haul up to Clary's when rain outs are everywhere else.. If your luck is like mine the day i made the trip it would defiantly rain..:smellie34:

Not gonna post much right now gotta get some sleep. But Rj we must have some cell phome troubles lol I said there were two new cars this week One from Va Roland Mann and young Austin Hubbard from DE, None from down south. I will chalk this up to the pending weather. I mean after all alot of the guys at FMS last friday said the reason they were not coming on the off weeks at FMS was beacuse of the weight rule. Well that was changed monday morning, so whats the reason now? Must have been the weather right?
But there were 15 slm's that started the race and for the first time out in a new car Billy Tucker put on a heck of a show. With the weather we have had lately hard to keep the track from getting dusty, but hey it is a dirt track right? Lots of sside by side racing and passing in every class, It starting looking a little more like the ole clarys of the past, great two and three wide racing. Should only keep getting better each week. Is it saturday yet?

That's great that they were able to get all eight divisions in by 11pm. I really have to say congratulations to Billy Tucker. I've seen him take a lot of slack at times over his driving up at VMS and Potomac. I also think he was injured pretty badly at one time if I remember correctly (don't recall if it was work-related or racing-related). Glad to hear that he was in victory lane, it sounds like he's got new equipment now ... I think what he used to have just didn't quite cut the mustard. Again congratulations to Billy, and to all of last night's winners (and to the staff for moving things along).
