Whats so bad that it is not raining at the track. Bad Move on there part. People are standing in line demanding there money back. Brent Robinson set the fastest time 15.84. in SLM.

From what I understood, the reason for cnx was due to severe weather in the surrounding area (lightning strikes) in which the radar showed moving towards DMS. Some fans had already started leaving the track because of the lightning. Liability wise, why take a chance of someone getting struck by lightning? A few gentlemen were waiting outside of ticket booth to see what the weather was going to do - they had just came thru storm. I was in the tower when the race was called.

I was not there, but my dad was and said that the LIGHTENING pretty bad in the area. He did say that the stand count and car count was not very good.

So MAYBE it was a blessing for both parties they called it.............Nobody was struck by lightening and KILLED and BGM did not LOSE $5,000-$10,000 and here is were everybody is a winner..................... YOU WILL HAVE SOMEWHERE TO RACE NEXT WEEK.

Not many tracks will keep racing if they take a $5000.00 hit...........

That's why I like this site it has the good the bad and the ugly, everyone has their favorite sites and LRC is mine.. I think more tracks should use this site because the ones that run it are here for all the tracks and not just one.. An officail forum is just that official to that track and that's it's, here at LRC you get more than one and it's no secret that LRC is becoming the most used site for racing info around these areas.. Everyone is entitled to open their own site but with LRC already being here why bother?

the weather was bad like it always is round 6 o clock its hot enuff 2 work and storms @ race time but the track record was set by i think his name is Bob Riggs its like 15.28 by the old Quality Pools car Get-Back by the way the company will have its new limited late model car on the track in about a month so if any one has any tips let me or DirtTrackFan Know they will be greatly Appreciated the car # will b H2o

Are you talking about Dublin Motor Speedway? If so the track record was set by Shawn Beasley in the #25 super late model
