If they did, they havent updated the Carolina Clash web-site yet. That would be good though if they did.

That could be either the Clash series not getting it to the webmaster or the webmaster is lazy.. either one should be no excuse, 24hrs tops is all it should take..:pepper:

Bro, you're preachin' to the choir. I'm been on their case about that since they first started a Web site, and the list of reasons it's not updated in a timely manner would only p**s you off even worse if I listed 'em.

Don,t see why anyone needs to beg to come to dumlin . They might want to beg some others to come back. Beg what a joke.

It's in negotiation. It's NOT a done deal yet, and that's a fact.

Yeah, I mean, I get the sense from talking with Larry Lee that it's gonna happen. But y'all are smart enough to know how these deals go; i.e., sometimes they don't go. Hope it works out for everybody involved.
(Clash is at Fayetteville for two of its next three races - Saturday, July 7, $5K to win; then July 14 at Travelers Rest Speedway [not Riverside, but the 'old' Windy Hill track or somethin' like that], then Aug. 4 at Fayetteville [even though Fayetteville's Web site doesn't show it that way, for some reason]).

FMS website does say carolina clash on Aug 4. on schedule page. and is travelers rest speedway the same track as gordon park cause that is what the clash schedule has listed for july 14? just wondering

Fayetteville's Web site shows a Clash race on Aug. 4 because I contacted the person who does the page and told 'em about it. Travelers Rest Speedway ain't Gordon Park - Travelers Rest, SC, vs. Augusta, Ga. The Augusta race will be rescheduled for September, most likely.

Knock yerself out, dude - but from the mouth of Larry Lee, who owns the series, and from the mouth of Clint Elkins, the series race director, it's still in discussion.

That's the problem with Dublin Motor Speedway.. No one knows whos coming or going.. Now wouldn't it be funny if they don't get it, after all this attention?

If I was associated with any track, I wouldn't even be advertising the possibility of the Clash coming to my track until it was finalized and a done deal. If it didn't fall through, I would have a lot of mad and disappointed fans.

whether it is a done deal or not i dont know, but what i do know is that it is being advertised on the DMS website so they must know something we dont. but i dont think they would post it on their website if it was not happening http://www.carolinadirt.oli.us/Smileys/default/huh.gif

Yea that would be real funny, then maybe the could get a good series like the SAS to come to Dublin. However any series that come to Dubli will be a good show because it is a good fast track where actual racing happens.

You are right when the track is in good shape it wouldnt matter which series comes in it would be a good race with side by side racin and very fast.

Well, I'm gonna TRY to make this point for (hopefully) the LAST time:
1. The guy who owns the series says it's not a done deal.
2. The guy who runs the series' events says it's not a done deal.
Doesn't matter what Dublin's Web site says. See points 1 & 2.
If it works out, great.

>>> Is it a done deal yet? <<<
Not that I've heard.
But I did find out this isn't a case of Fayetteville wanting to dump the Friday date - Fayetteville's still planning on a two-night show. It's the Clash that's wanting to race at Dublin on Sept. 28, not that Fayetteville's trying to ditch that night for any reason.
