Why So quiet

Why is everything so Quiet on here. I know somebodys got to have something to say about sat night. I personely think from top to bottom it may have been the best overall night this year. Come on people someones got to think it was ok for the size of car count and the rain for tthe night to last so long or as ussual someone has got to blame the track. What about the 4cly race how many cautions? What about bruce hall and kelly more? What about Ray Tucker making Anothony Rushing look like just another avg car? What about old buddy isles " dont care who you are nobody gonna hit my car" lmao. What about buddy jr and steve pearson? What about a ? for the track, what in the world took so long to line up the cars and get them on the track? Come on people well over a 100 cars and good racing in just about every class, wrecking fighting raceing what more do you people need to have something to talk about? I can prob think of at least 50 more. See I just thought of one: I wonder if it was still the old board would things be this Quiet????????? Just some thoughts as I sit here bored out of My mind. somebody anybody help please

I was wondering the same thing myself. Seems like there would have been at least one complaint by now,, :Headz: Me! Well I did not get a chance to go, I had husband duty..lol :14NotWort I am looking forward to the 15th though.

I just thought about someting else lol. Why did we have to sit threw the late model race and never not once did the annouce team say how many laps had been run. i think over half the crowd didnt even know when the race was over. I know its a short time frame but Iam thinking that if there was any way to get a scoreboard installed by the 15 I would just about break my neck to get it done. Clarys is gonna have a golden chance to impress teams and fans from close to far away and help draw more fans and teams for next year and JMO a scoreboard would go along way towards that. Doesnt have to be a fancy one with quaifling times and such, just lap counter and maybe top 3-5 places.

As far as car count goes it was great! I personally think the night the Kent Wright and Ray Davis jr battled for the win was a better show in SLM! And where in the heck did that rain come from? No rain on the forcast and we called home about 15 minutes before it rained and was told no rain showing up on the local radar!

I think I was in saldua that night but from what I heard that prob was the better slm race. But for one night other than the 4cy crash fest I enjoyed every other race, even the junkyard raced instead of wrecking

I don't think there will be a scorebaord until next season unless Monk knows something he hasn't told us........as for announcing laps remaining, it will be done on the 15th and 22nd......I am going to make sure of that if I have to sit in the announce booth and do it myself..........

Well, since noone else will, I'll talk about kelly more. What a fool!!! Didn't he see what a fool Robby Gordon made of himself? .... and he hit waltrips car on the first throw? To hold up the race that long, then fix your car on the track and the officials let him continue the race? should have been sent the pits and parked for the night, He could throw all the tantrums he wants while we watch some racing.

I wont sit here and say I agree with what kelly did, but I understand. I bet you there were about 4 other drivers who wish they could have got there hands on bruce hall. I also think the flagman has a black flag, he needs to use it. There was no reason to allow hall to even remain on the track. If you are slow and lapps down and staying out of the way and not affecting the outcome of the race then fine. But if you are laps down and affecting the outcome then the officials need to get em off the track and there was more than enough reason to black flag him before he wreck kelly, I mean give me a break who turns left and the front strecth? He also held ray tucker up for a lap then when he finaally moved he almost took rushing out the race for 1st was never close again( I dont think rushing would have passed ray but you never know) So before we call kelly moore or robbie gordan a fool remmber not only did he cost kelly the differance in 3rd vs 4th place money, he also cost him time and money to repair his car.

JH, Don't get me wrong, Hall was holding things up and affecting the outcome. This was debated about a month ago on the forum and the majority said that every car has a right to be on the track. That being said, Hall was extremely erratic and all over the track(even on the starights) but tucker and rushing had to pass him. maybe instead of black flagging lap cars, make a rule that if you do not obey the move over flag, then black flag. I still think kelly was an idiot, whether frustartion got the best of him or not. seems that bunch, (kelly and pearson) think they own the track or are the only ones that deserve to win. I include pearson because of the way he blocks the car behind him lap after lap. if thats the way you have to win, you need to do some homework so you are faster than the car behind you, not having to turn side ways and chop the guy off that gets under you.I'm thinking of Isles, he drove pearson clean lap afetr lap and when he finally got a run on the inside out of 4, pearson beat on him till he wrecked himself, who's fault was that?

BLOCKING IS RACING. blocking is what makes it interesting. if no one blocks during a race then it is just boring to me. i like to be on the edge of my seat(if i am siting, most of the time i am not). it was for the lead so you will do whatever it takes to keep that man behind you. i am not saying that steve wasn't wrong he could have been but i was watching #82 cause at the same time he and another car had gotten together off of 4.

blocking is protectiong your line and keeping the guy behind from getting a run on you, yes, that is racing. blocking is not going in the corner.. drifting high.. then turnig sideways, coming down the track on top of the guy who has a run on the bottom so he has to slam on brakes to keep from tearing up both cars. This is what I'm talking about. If he sees a car getting under him he turns down on them, if the car on the bottom don't lift..... you have two cars wrecked and anyone else behind who is close. Yes you do what you can to keep the lead but what is the difference between driving erratic so second place can't get by and a lap car driving erratic so someone can't by. no matter what place you are in you still need to hold your line. jmo
