On the race this past saturday at clary's kelly moore had to start in the rear of the field cause he had won three features in a row. Why didn't justin pinno have to start in the rear of the field he has won more than three in a row this year. Does it seem fair?

I honestly dont know anything about this rule.......I have never seen it written down..........John asked me the same question. I told him I dont know.......This is one for the D & D and or Scoring......... If I recall right Kelly, you said something to me about it 3 or 4 weeks ago, I never heard it before.

Honeslty I dont really agree with it, why punish a guy for running good???????? If you invert one, I say INVERT the entire field.

sorry. didnt mean to ruffle any feathers. the class has been slack this year but it looked pretty good this past weekend. i hope the cars continue to roll in. glad to see rusty back. i believe if he gets that handling problem under control he is goin to be hard to beat.

besides why put him in the rear when he would be back in the lead on the first lap. kinda pointless

Neither do you red dust. why waste fuel to ride around if your not trying to win?

I felt like it was unfair to put Kelly in the back this week also. If someone dominates a class, the rest of the cars need to speed up....not the other way around.

I think they talked about this at the rules meeting before the year. As I recall, the idea is to do something short of an inspection / track protest when a car dominates. (I said something against it then too). If they're worried that someone's winning because they're illegal, then check them, don't penalize them just because they're fast.

Just my opinion.

Ryan, you are right. It was discussed but I never knew it would be enacted. I agree the rule does bite, it's not fair to anybody running that good to be penalized. I guess it's a rule to make the fans get up on their feet and talk about him having to come up through the field.

I do agree with Foran, just stop a min and pulle a valve cover, and with a flash light, see if someone is running a roller cam or not, like the top three..... As far as starting in the back, Schloss and Kings had that rule, and I had to start in the back before... right or wrong..... I had to do it... far as Pino not starting in the rear vs. Kelly, I think Pino has more dirt on his knees thqan Kelly!!! That Hardcore racer dude..... Don't pay no attention to him Redust... Probally one of them Pino punk water drinkers!!!!!

If a lapped car gets the move over flag and he does not move the leader has the right to move him out of the way.
Whoever causes the caution goes to the rear. Any cars involved in the caution that make contact with any car or anything will also be considered part of the caution if they stop on the track.
Drivers will be given 90 seconds to change a flat tire.
If the same driver is the cause of 3 cautions, then that driver will be black flagged.
If a caution comes out on the first or last lap, we will race back to the flag.
Protest Rule: The second place finisher may protest the winner; each has to put up $500. If the winner does not agree, he forfeits 1st pace. The track gets $100 of the money and the rest goes to the winner of the protest ($900). A visual protest may be done for $50.
Any driver that wins 3 races in a row MUST start at the rear of the field in the feature race the next time he/she races.
A driver change after qualifying or the heat race will result in that car going to the rear in the feature race.
These are just general rules, each driver needs to attend the driver's meeting every week because things are discussed in the driver's meeting that are not posted here.
This is from the website................I did not even know that it was a real rule.

We did not have this rule at King's when we were running it............. I understand why a promoter would want to have it, but why penalize a guy for running good. I also agree........the track can pull a valve cover, or tech the top 3 as far as the track wants to go. :check_flag:

Ok, I have no dog in this fight, but I am not a fan of this rule either.....BUT......do you really think that getting on this board and complaining is gonna get it changed?......Get together and bring it up in the drivers meeting or each person can call Dwayne and let him know how they feel.........
