Even though"some people" talk trash about Greg, he is a nice guy and will help anybody anytime he can.He builts our engines and anytime i have a question or a problem,he makes time to help us.And.. the man can drive!!

He had a problem with his aluminum motor a few weeks ago. He is running his steel head motor until the other one is ready.The steel head is not enough for the Lucas race.

Yea maybe he was a good 4cyl driver but he ain't showed me nothing in that Late Model.. Usually his ods of bringing the car home in one piece are about 60 - 40.. Nothing against Greg I just don't think he's got what it takes to drive a LM. He's got good equipment but he is not going to give the team what it has a potential to do, not this year and not next year either..

See I do take a little offense to this cause I work on the car! 4 Banger, yeah damn he never lost a race unless the car broke while they were running modifieds. He has not won a race this year, but it will come sooner or later. We have not run Clary's that much until this year so lookout! Just like I said in the last post its harder than it looks. That latemodel is not a 4 banger.

I don't know if I say that so hastily, Randall. Greg won his fair share of "unlimited" modified four races at CLR, but I do recall that Cy Nelms won more races in those cars when he was driving for Mr. Perry in a particular year at CLR.

But honestly, it's only a matter of time before Greg will be taking home winner's trophies and purses. I mean the man's running 2nd with a steel head engine, just imagine what he's gonna do when he's got aluminum.

You can say what you want, but Greg is one hard charging driver. I have watched him at WCS and Clary's, I seriously doubt he ever gives less than 100%, however even the best team and driver sometimes miss the set up, or have other problems. Buba0369 you are right it is not as easy at it looks. Great run Greg, a win is just around the corner.

Randall is an integral part of the 03 team, along with Dale and Robert. Of course he's going to take offense to any type of insult to his driver/team. (You may not have meant it as an insult, but that's how it appears it was taken) Greg was good in the 4 banger class, doesn't mean he can't be good in the LM class either. At least he is trying his best, and that's more than enough I'm sure.

He doesn't have to go out and dominate week after week. Good, consistent runs are just as good as wins, especially running a steelhead motor. (5th, 4th and 2nd place finishes in last few weeks) The competition is outstanding in the LM's at Clary's, you have JC Clary, Kent Wright...the list goes on and on. It's really not an easy, nor inexpensive class to run. To assume he may have a "win here and there, not many" that's rather bold. Never know what he'll do when he gets that aluminum motor back.

You're exactly right! Greg did damn awesome on Saturday night (esp. holding off a hard charging Chris Marshall) and I hope he does just as well this weekend. Clary's is not an easy track to run, due to the condition of the track from time to time (last week was decent), and the 03 has never really had any good luck up at the Ring Of Fire. Good to see that they have turned their luck around and are having the finishes to prove it.
