Lucky13 gave me a brief update tonight. Jeff Smith started 18th or 20th, came to the front, had a flat. Came back out and started in the rear and came back to the front and won. Could be interesting next weekend if he shows...hmm

That makes a little more sense now. Rambo would do well at cherokee, had a fast ride at winchester, but sure didnt have no luck first time at the place and drew dead last starting spot in his heat. But them boys better be gald the consi was 15 laps instead of 16 cause ole "BO" might have won the whole show. lol

I will have to agree with you gb81racing. I am not going to say he will win BUT I know last night he drove that car ANYWHERE he wanted to. If the so called BIG DOGS cant do that , well they might just make the check out to Jeff. I couldnt believe the move he made last night coming off of turn two when he split those two guess right down the middle, I just knew he was done. Oh well it should be good next Fri , I just hope I can meake it.

Hell anyone with any sense at all would bet on Earl. I just like to see the underdog win sometimes just to show that they (the heavy hitters) CAN be beat also. I dont know who I will pull for at this time though. I like Earl and the boys and I will be happy if he wins but, I know thats who alot of people will be pulling for. I just like to be different lol.

Based on the track conditions at the time of qualifying, it's anybodies game. Sure Jeff Smith has the track figured out, but consider the pressure! One slip,start at the back!
Let alone dealing with the pressure of the "top guns" being there! Who's watching? Is there a chance for a local to move into these ranks?

Iam willing to bet madden didnt have any say so in it. His car owner did in my opinion. This past week there was alot of talk on another board about Ricky Weeks (same car owner Henderson amusement) not going to a track that he announced he was earlier in the week cause they were only gonna race for 4,000 or more, the track mentioned was running for 2,200 to win, Ricky wanted to go car owner said no. Now just reading between the lines, my opinion is it sounds like budget cuts to me.:blue14:
