Great racing at Clary's BUT!!!

Again there was some good racing at Clary's this weekend, my first trip this year so far.. Still the track is all to pieces by the time the SLM are ready to race.. What's the deal?:confuzeld: I actually think the 89 could have won the race if not for the craters in the turns, looked like something broke and forced him to the top. I was walking past their pits and I think they were discussing what might have broke, maybe a shock or something I didn't want to bother them so I keep a distance away. I would still like to congradulate the track on a good nights program everything went smooth for them it seemed. Hopefully they will get the track issues corrected..

That's great JH I like making it out a few times a year and I just hate to see anyones car get damaged because of track conditions.. It already costs enough to get there to the track. I know it can be done because it has been done it in the past.

Dude, the track was a lil rough... but I have seen and been on worse! I thought it was a great show!!!! the Super's put on a hell of a show.... V-8 stock too!!!! All great racing even the Mod-4 race... oh yeah, there was not one......

I don't disagree that the racing was not good, all i'm saying is the the track can be better because it has been before..

Yea hated to see that the mod 4's could not run but that Justin is one hell of a sportsman.. I think I heard JH say that he told the track to keep his fees and they would try again next week.

I was wondering the same thing. I heard they broke a shock but want to hear from her. Marcia, you dont know how hard it was for me Sat to turn south in Ohio. I was about an hour from Eldora. The only reason I didnt go was I needed to make time. I was driving from Iowa and wanted to get home. If I would have had a 2nd driver it would have been a different story.

Like i said before in a another thread ,were just lucky our car came out of that race with all 4 fenders on it .Don,t know about underneath yet , they are going to check it out this weekat the shop.The track was rough but our car had so much bite that it would the middle groove.They are talking about going to that lucas oil race ,marcia , are yall still thinking about it.I,ll get with yall sat and we,ll talk .gungun team 54 slm.:smiley_595:

I am going to pick up some Hoosiers Friday for FMS the 22nd......Chuckie and I are gonna head to Winchester Friday to watch Booper in that race and get the tires......
