Anyone Need A Driver

Hi my name is Christopher Carroll i love going to Georgetown Speedway i love racing all together i was wondering if anyone was looking for a driver becuz im available and hungry to race

Christopher, your enthusiam to become a driver is appreciated. In my opinion if you want to become more involved, try to contact a local racing team and see if they need some help with the car. I'll bet the answer is yes. There is always something to be done on a race car and you will get some valuable experience by being around racing.

If you have never raced before, perhaps you might want to start with karting to hone your skills. You'll meet lots of good people, make some contacts and have a blast for not too much money. If you must start in a full size car, buy a decent used crate car. Be prepared to run in the back for a while and get that most important asset - experience. Also don't plan on having a lot of spare money; race cars are hungry beasts.

I am writing this because I think you are a young man with high hopes. I have followed racing for lots of years and have seen a lot of competitors come and go. Most started in their own equipment before being recognized as a talent worthy of being hired as a driver.

With all this being said, I have never owned or raced a full size car.
