Sprints this weekend....

V8 Sprints this coming weekend , along with U-cars should be fun...

I just wish the other divisions could have at least 6 or 8 cars show up..

I could whine & complain but i'm trying to make the best of it and support the man his first year.....We'll be there every week..

heck for $8 it's worth it...

I'll be there this weekend also. Track is in great shape, making for some good racing. The sprints will have 18-20 cars there to put on a show. The u-cars seem to be getting up in numbers. Fans should have a good time.

Yeah, and to top it off I heard that the retired modified driver Satch Whorley is going to give a shot at racing one of those sprint cars. As good as the track has been, especially with no rain to help, it should be a great show!! Can't wait to see several full fields turn it up on that new banking too. Should be some really fast laps. Several more late models have said they were coming too after watching last Saturdays show. So it's all good!!!:smiley_880:

Hell, I'd pay alot more than $8.00 just to see Satch in a race car again!

Satch is the one French had to dig up the old track and bring in the new clay. He also added the new banking from bottom to top. The racers that have raced on the new surface have all said how much better it is to race on. Satch has been at the last 2 races and wants to try out one of the sprint cars. I'm sure he still knows how to run sideways!

Wow! If this is more than a rumor, it is BIG news. Satch Worley in a sprint car at Fork Mountain Raceway! I'll be there for sure! That makes me smile just thinking about it. Can't wait for Saturday night!

$12.00 this weekend,
it's all about support, i'm just glad there's a dirt track close by to go to...Seems like a waste for a track to just sit there ...I'ts a nice track & what i like about it is you are so close to the action...Most track seating is far back off the track & you don't get the full effect....I think the low fan turnout is due to racing on saturday nights as opposed to friday....Friday racing at OLR /FM is something that should not of been changed....The fans there want to see Late Models, that's what brings the fans to THAT track...Some things just can't be changed...
