Wade Hendrickson picked up his second Big Block Modified win of the season at Georgetown on Friday night, coming from 10th place for the victory. Hendrickson beat out Jamie Mills and Richie Pratt, who started 12th, by comfortable margins to take the checkered flag.
Billy Pauch, who lead a good deal of the race early, finished in fourth place after being involved in two incidents. The first was a side by side bump with Mills that cut one of Pauch's tires. Pauch was able to quickly change the tire and return to the track. He was involved in another incident later when Judd Mills spun out in front of him and nearly collected his car. After being forced to the back twice, Pauch still came up with a top five finish.
Kenny Brightbill started seventh I believe and came away with a top five finish, running as high as third late in the race before the handling went away on the #19 machine.
Ryan Godown lead early and seemed on his way to a dominating victory but a blow tire and apparently something broken in the right rear ended his quest for his first ever win at the track.
Jon Calloway passed Herb Tunis with two laps to go to win the Crate Late Models. Ross Robinson dominated early but broke something in the rear of the car as well. Bobby Watkins, Tunis and Calloway put on a show by exchange 1-2-3 for most of the final 10 laps of the event.
I'd give more detailed results but I'm workly mainly on memory. Perhaps someone else can fill in the rest for those wondering.
