There will be no inside wall, 5 or 6 car tires will be burried in the corners 1/2 sticking in the ground and 1/2 sticking out of the ground and painted white. This will allow drivers to see the inside line in the corners while also letting cars get buy damage free when accidents accure that would nomally result in damage from an inside wall. Plus cars that have problems can "duck" into the infield out of the way so racing will not be effected.

what about the chances of a car going out of control and crossing the infield into on coming cars?

Than would mean a driver would have to cross over 250 feet of area. There are tracks all over built like this. It is planned to have an ambulance and fire truck in the infield and they will probably be behind some kind of guard rail protection. But if a driver heads in the infield and does not let off the gas and tries to gather his car up without doing so safely, he will be penalized.

Thank you Gary and Wayne.. A track with a RUN OFF area. Most small tracks
have these, great idea they have a berm on the bottom to upset the cars
so its no advantage to stay down there, but if you need to get off the track
you can without tearing your car up... But If the safety crew stays in the pits they'll have a wall to protect them. They can also pit outside with everyone else, either way there needs to be a wall down the middle the long way. in case of a knocked out driver. Which is very rare..Thanks again for
thinking of the Drivers and fans. Looking foward to racing there.... all I like
is my engine... is at builders now.. I'm hoping 2 to 3 weeks I'll be ready....

A lot of tracks, especially up North, are configured like that and it hasn't seemed to be a problem. Run-off areas on the front and back strech and even in the turns (between tractor tires). Tow trucks and other emergency vehicles are usually protected by concrete slabs.

These two shots from Grandview (PA) Speedway show it pretty well:

These pics from Big Diamond (PA) Raceway also show it pretty well:

Hope this is helpful.

Just think of all the damage this will save by not having a wall. Don't know bout most of you but I have had 99% more damage done by the inside wall than the outside wall. Either way about it that's how this track is layed out so no use complaining about it. Majority liked it this way.
