thoughts and prayers for my dad.

i would like everybody to pray for my dad cause wednesday morning he will be going in surgery to have stints put in, he has bad blockage and they are going to go in and try to open it up but if the stints won't work, they are gonna have to do by pass on him. he is 51 yrs. he has high blood pressure along with diabetes and i talked to him yesterday and he seems to be in good spirits about everything.

my brother just got off the phone with somebody at the hospital and she told him that my dad will have to have triple by pass surgery within the next 3 to 4 days and if one of the arteries were to shut down now, he would haev a heart attack and he probaly wouldn't make it through it. i want to go up there and see him, i haven't seen him since fathers days will be 2 yrs.i just want to tell everybody that is praying for me and my dad to keep praying for him, i'm in tears now trying to type this, i'm going to be strong cause i know my dad would tell me to stop crying cause i know everything will be ok with him atleast i hope so anyways.

Our thoughts and prayers will be with your dad and family. Remember that God is in control and faith will bring you thru this. Went thru same situation with my wife in 2004 (she just turned 40) and Duke didn't give much hope that surgery would correct problems, but they didn't know what our God can do. God is our refuge, our strength, and our very present help in trouble.

we are planning on heading to richmond about lunch time tomorrow, he don't won't us to go up there but we are going to go anyways. i'll let everybody know how he is doing when i get back friday after the surgery is over, we are going tomorrow so that he will know that we did come to see him.

sorry itook so long for me to update ya'll, my dad went into surgery friday morning and was sitting up eating ice chips saturday morning in icu, my brother calls and checks on him sunday morning and he is out of icu. i just want to say thank all of u for thoughts nad prayers and keep praying for him.
