How did Ed Basey race the Clash race at FMS and win the main event at I-20 last night. I saw on another site that Ed won at I-20, but he is listed 12th at FMS here on LRC

Scott Shirey lead flag to flag to take the win at I-20. Only three SLM started the race they ran combined with the crates.

TO CLAY & DUST -When dose bad or broken parts ( mabe even a bad call on the set-up) have anything to do with the man's DRIVING ABILITY ?

I saw the right rear of the 88 hit the front of the 4. I thought it was a racing accident. I don't think it was intentional.

I was not at the race but i saw a tape of the race it looked like the 88 ran in too hard and lost his line and got into the 4. Then the 88 tries to correct it his front wheels are turned back by then its too late.

How bad is the car?

Just because a car gets away from a guy in the corner when there are ruts - and they were a lot more pronounced up close that it looked like from up top; I was very surprised when I went down and checked 'em myself - doesn't mean a driver's not talented. Both of those guys have been track champions, both are good people and both are very good racers. Let's not be so judgmental and quick to blame.

And here's hoping D.J. and Danny are back at it full-tilt ASAP.
