Uncle Heff was the Wilson County Speedway track champion in the four cylinder class the last year the speedway was open(1989 I think). He picked up feature wins at several area tracks. Wilson,County Line Raceway, Champion(NOW CLARYS),Frankin County(Bunn NC), Wake County(when it was dirt), the OLD Dublin Speedway(5/8 mile) East Carolina Motor Speedway(asphalt) and had a short career in the old Nascar Goodys Dash series.
