After 2 practices in 75-80 degree weather, one would have to say that Mr Norris and company have the old 4/10ths oval looking real good as she enters her 38th. year of competition. Their new weapon, a rotovator. It;s a piece of equipment that only goes into the surface about 3-4 inches and seems to help keep everything damp the entire time. In fact one well respected driver told me today quote " We're all going to have to adjust our driving styles a little now, instead of waiting for the dreaded slide in the corners it's up to the driver to get back on the gas" I guess he was trying to say we've got grip now baby! One thing about it, whenever you guys tell Larry what you want, 9 times out of 10 he's does whatever it takes to make it happen. Remember, driver's meeting at 6:15, Practice rolls off at 6:30, points begin this week also with all divisions in action! With that being said, the only thing "hopping" at FMS next week hopefully will be the Easter bunny! Good luck gentlemen, Eddy.
