Ararat Speedway/Rolling Thunder

I'm from Ohio but am interested in old race tracks. Is the new Rolling Thunder Raceway being built on the same site as the old Ararat Speedway? If not, does anyone have any info on the old Ararat Speedway? Here is the info I have.

Ararat Speedway - Ararat - 1/2 mile dirt oval (6/22/1958 - circa 1960) / SW of Stuart.

No, Rolling Thunder is being built from scratch about a mile or 2 away from the old Aarat Speedway. I don't think that the old speedway is even in existence anymore.

Thanks but I'm more interested in directions to the old track in Ararat.

Should be something like, on the East side of highway 773 in Va. about 1/4 mile from the N.C. State Line. It was being worked on last year but a developer put a stop to it that was building next to it.
