I heard today that Britches Liles has new ride with a different team for the T&L class in 2007. Has anyone else heard this? Before anyone ask,yes,he is still driving our LM and Skeeter is still driving the L2 (now L3)from last year.From what Britches told me,a few guys from up his way(Bailey,Middlesex area) that run T&L are saying that he backed out of our T&L car because he is afraid of the competition(thats funny!!) that will be in the class this year.That is why he went out and found this new ride,to show those guys he loves to be raced hard.All i can say is good luck to the guys that told him that. He told me who they are,but i will not say.It should be some good racing.

way to go britches maybe the guys that he is gonna race for can keep him upfront every week or he can keep them up front and i know from what i have heard that the competition is gonna be stiffer this year no need to fear because britches is gonna be NEAR the front.

Britches is the best driver at CLR that I know of except JP Cascell now he gets around that place pretty swift too. BUT GO BRITCHES GET EM MAN!!!!

we will all tell in due time when the car that he is driving goes really fast. i mean its 1 thing to have alot of motor but when u have a veteran like britches pushing that pedal on the right that makes that car do things that won't even possible with anybody else driving it.

If he is driving a T&L car for Mr. C,it is news to me.We only have 2 T&L cars. Skeeter is driving 1 and Ken is driving the other.It would be fine with me if he did,though.

I wanted to go with a red,white,and blue design this year and liked Greg's old car from a few years ago. It has the same colors as Greg's did,but thats it.The design is different(Ronnie moved the colors around and used less red).

my opinion for that late model to stay just like it was sitting in his front yard it would have eto stay right there in his front yard not saying that it will be tore up every 2 weeks but i am saying its going get some tire marks on it if britches liles is driving it. and if he is running 2nd the leader might as well get a new left rear quater panel because he is going to probably see how far he can put it next to that tire

Yeah, Britches can really drive fast around the 3/8 mile. I think he would be competitive at CLR in the Thunder & Lightning class driving a turtle. :smilie12:

i have many favorites at CLR to name a few David Myers(goat man),JP Cascell,Britches,Jessie Jr,Gary Dillion just to name a few. they all have there on special talents around the Line. for instance JP and David both do really well with cars that arent the best in the world. so to me they are none of em better than the other they are all great drivers at the line.

You guys that love racing go karts should go to Rush Hour Karting in Garner, Jim and some of his friends have gone and they have a good time. Bobby Batten and Jim Bushee went and they had a ball. I'm not sure of a website, but all you racers would like it. Karts are fast. You have to wear a neck brace and helmet. You can bring your own helmet.
