Cup drivers Georgetown

Any chance we will ever see a cup crew chiefs race or cup drivers race at Georgetown, Kirk Shelmerdine won in Alex Beaumonts 22a back in 1988. Would really fiil stands and pits.

Not to mention it was pretty cool. I still remember it and I was just a little kid at the time.

It would be cool to see again. I worked in the scoring tower for one season at Georgetown. Lukily it was that season and the excitement that night was unbelievable. Does anyone remember which crew chief wrecked that night and who's car they were in.

It was the year a fellow named Joe Gary ran/promoted the track and I'm not sure if it was 88 or 89. In any case it would do the track a world of good if something like that could be put together again.
