Hey, Wayne do you know what the tire rule is going to be for the crate late models? In the fastrack rules it states the weekly sanction tracks have the option to run there own tire rule for weekly sanction events. Or would it be kept the same as the touring series for the ones who are going to run a few series races?

It's looking like it will be all Goodyear,(for the crates) that way the points will pay $1000 for the crates instead of $500. That's the way the drivers were talking at the meeting. Tire rule will be out in a week or so for all classes. Trying to be as racer friendly as we can.

I should know more Monday, a parts truck will be at the track selling tires, gas, and parts. Tires will go through Phil Gann. I know this is taking a little long, right now the hold up is really the SS class. We are trying to get the tire company to give us a little lee-way so the SS class won't have to buy all new tires to race. (giving them two tires to choose from).
As far as the crate class, the parts truck might or might not have those. But they will be available if he can't.

Tire rules will be announced shortly. We would like it to be open, but to have tires , gas, and a parts truck at the track that won't work. But we are trying to get by as easy as we can on mini-stock, and SS classes because we do realize cars that have ran different tire rules are involved. In the last few weeks working on these deals with tire companies, I'm learning about things I thought were stupid before, myself.

Camlobe still waiting on putting deal together with Phil and the parts truck. Wayne told you earlier that to have a parts truck you have to kinda work with them on tire rules. We have talked with Gary on tires and probably the way he mean't is he would like to have an open tire rule but he can't and have a parts truck also. So be patient as soon as something is decided Wayne will be letting us know. You're not the only one that is waiting I am also.
