the race track is coming along nicely. just don't rush into it to open and still needing improvements. i would rather race in may at a track i can brag about, than start the season too early at a track still needing improvements.
take the time to finish it right the first time-even if we start in May.

will the wall be guard rail or jersey barrier? i went to potomac speedway one time and a street stock rode one straight up til its bumper was the only thing on the track. the jersey barrier flopped over from the weight of the car. do the jersey barriers get ankered into the ground like guard rails?

Neither one. It's 4 feet long and 3000lbs. each concrete blocks that attach to each other, the sides are straight up and down, not like the jersey barriers.
should work really well.

Has the track hired an announcer yet?

Are you gonna double stack them? and are you gonna angle them with the of banking? if the blocks are set level and the track has banking then that would act as a ramp and cars would jumpthe wall. if they are angled some when a car gets against it they would more likely bounce back to the track instead of goin for a wildride

Hey racecort92, yep done deal I think. Just keeping things kinda quiet for a couple more weeks. You'll like.

Wall is going to be double stacked, about 4' high, and it will be with the lay of the track. Kinda defeat the purpose to do otherwise. Plus more protection for back stretch.
