Does anyone have some pictures of the new track? Also, I've read it's 1/4 to 3/8's in size, and some have said it's smaller than Oak Level. Is there going to be room to race Late Models and Crates? I'm really hoping so. Ever since Friendship paved, I have to drive at least 1 1/2 hours to see a dirt race. It's sure gonna be nice to have a track closer to home. Any info. on the track would be greatly appreciated. By the way, what's the easiest way there from Elkin?

Hey,
The track was originally designed to be a 1/4 mile for mini-sprint and mini-stock racing. But we have had so much interest in Lm and crates that gary has expanded the track to what now is a small 3/8 track. Several Lm drivers at the meeting were saying it looked bigger than OLR to them. The racing surface will be 60 feet wide and should provide plenty of room to race. A web-site is being designed now, and we hope to have it up shortly. From Elkin get off 77 at exit 100 and go straight through Mt. Airy across Main Street , past YMCA or YWCA can't remember which it is. After passing it turn left at next light on highway 104, go about 10 miles crossing into Va. and turn left on Friends Mission Road beside Blue Ridge Elem. school. Go one mile track is on the left.
