Late Model Rules Meeting

Hey Guys and Gals,

There will be a LM rules meeting at the track on Saturday Feb. 24th at 2:00 P.M.
We also invite any Limited Late Models that may be interested in running in this class, we will discuss a weight break for the limited , like has been used in past. This will be the only class discussed that day.

The track layout is almost done now, so it would be a good time for the LM people to check it out. The meeting itself shouldn't take very long at all. I'll have a rough draft of the rules to go by and we will discuss anything that needs discussing. Same format that seemed to work well with the other classes rules.

Hey people,
I hear we have 3 or 4 LM teams that are looking at running ay Antioch on the 24th. My mistake, I knew this race was coming up, and didn't think about it being the 24th. I know March Madness is the 3rd and 4th of March. Will the 10th of March work with you guys and gals. I know it is a little later, but I don't think we will change any rules that the teams are use to running by, just simply looking at actually going by them. Can you make it on March 10th?

Don't know if it will affect anyone coming on the 10th, but the Clash opener is at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia that night. March Madness is a one day show for late models on the 4th. The 3rd is practice only for supers. Just wanted to let ya'll know. Hope it goes good. Have you decided on an opening date yet?

Too early to tell, got to get a little further along on the track before anyone can make a date yet. Track should be real close to being done this week with the good weather. Didn't get much done last week with the 2 inches of rain that fell and made a swimming pool in the middle of the track.

All the best wishes to Rolling Thunder. It seems that the crew there has gotten a lot done in a short period of time. It is also great to see that the track people have listened and acted upon what they have been told by the racers

Thanks for the kind words Alvint, I'll pass that along. Hoping to get opened around mid to late April. Got a lot of work to be done , but I talked with Gary about things Saturday and he has a couple of things in the works that can speed things up if they pan out.
