From the looks of the turn out, Rolling Thunder is gonna be the place to be on Friday nights...or for the entire weekend for that matter. I think the track is gonna do real well.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to ya. I hope everyone came from the meeting having good thoughts. Gary and Alesia are good people, and we will all do our best to make Rolling Thunder Raceway an enjoyable place to be. We had so many drivers, I thought it was best to try to take care of two groups at a time, so we could get things accomplished by a decent hour. I personally would like to thank all the drivers and teams for working with us to get this start of the 2007 season going and attending the meeting. Thanks to you all, 2007 looks much better than it was looking a couple of months ago.

I would also like to thank everybody for their support and interset at the meetings, they went real well. Everyone was cooperative and willing to work together on getting this track going. I was real pleased with the outcome of the steel heads and the crates meetings, looks good, helped alot. We had about 15 crates and about 16 to 18 lates represented. The rules for the other classes went well, issues were discussed and came to a happy medium. So from all of us thank you, hoping for a heck of a first season.

Andy and Wayne will be getting back with everyone on a rules meeting for the steel heads and crates. I think that the crates will be running fastrack(sp?) rules... and the steel heads....alot was discussed but only thing that can about be for sure is NO GOODYEARS!!! :o) YAY YAY!! but nothing is in stone untill we have our rules meeting.

They will let us know when they plan to have it!!!

Hey people,

Yea, Andy said saying "Goodyears" around you guys was DANGEROUS.
I will be getting the final rules out in the next couple of weeks, but really need to wait on the LM meeting so all the rules will be together. I hope the track layout will be ready in the next couple of weeks , if so that would be a good time for the LM meeting so the LM guys can see the track while they are there. We'll keep yall posted.

Website is in the process of being fixed. Hopefully within the next few weeks. Stay tuned on here for now and we will let everybody know when it is up and running. Thanks again everybody on a real successful meeting saturday. Turned out better than we could have ever imagined.

The meeting went very well. The mood was cooperative, not combative and that was nice. Thanks to Gary and Alesia and Wayne and Andy for answering our questions and letting us know they'd get back with us on anything they couldn't answer. Alesia worked hard fixing hot dogs for that crowd. There were at least 75 people there! I believe everyone left with positive feelings about this new track.
