Franklin Co. Speedway face-lift so far

I was at the track saturday helping with some of the construction work...So far the pit enterance has been widened about 5 feet, the turn 1 and 2 inside guard rail has been put up and its starting to look pretty decent now...during the week the pit enterance gate will be put in place and paved...also a new weight scale will be put in place...cant wait to see the final product its gonna be nice!

Things are looking good Wesley. I guess everyone will get an eye full when they attend the drivers and car owners meeting on Tuesday night. That was some pretty good progress in one Saturday. Hopefully Richard will get some pretty days, especially on the weekends, between now and the first race of the season.

I also heard Packaging Products would not only sponsor Jimmy Mullins, but would also sponsor a race night at the track in '07.

The word is getting out and the support is growing. I wonder who wrote that nice letter to the sports editor of the Roanoke Times that ran in today's paper? That guy rocks!!

yea it sure is Kenny, we got more done in less than a day, than whitey has done in 10 years and that is no joke lol.....but hmmm i wounder who that was in the paper!!! lol good job Kenny
