Wes-Ma Liles has lots of tapes back then. RedClay I watch them alot with Dylan and they were the good times. The racing back then was RACING.---It's more like a if you :pop: touch my car I will get you back kinda thing now.I wonder what happened to the sport of racing.
I love to watch those racing tapes back in the 1989 and on.Some of these drivers now use to be the kids that sit in the stands and pulled for their favorite driver. They were the good days.

The hittin and banging is what made it fun. Back then you welded a "push bar" outside of you nose for one reason. TO MOVE PEOPLE!!!! But there wasn't any reason to get mad b/c it was common. Now we got this pretty boy racing. If anyone touches your car ,"Oh Boo Hoo he hit me". Screw it, if I'm holding you up, put your nose up under my rear bumper until my wheels come off the ground. That's part of it. I've seen my dad be pushed down the straight-a-way, the whole time waving for them to do more. Those were the days........

As bad as you think CLR is now, back in the old days I remember some people would say "I went to the fight at CLR, and a dang race broke out"!

Well what I have to add to this redclay is that it is still fighting going on at County Line the last race I was helping Jessie Richardson Jr. a lil bit and I got knocked in the back of the head by Glenn Baker I turned around and punched him.

id just like to know what fighting solves at the track. and all that talking chit on here about someone just makes yourself look stupid. i know that drivers get frustrated with each other from time to time and tempers flare, but wouldnt it be a whole lot easier to walk it off and calm yourself down than to go whip someones ass or maybe get yours whooped?

well Wesley ur right about that. I dont particulay like fighting myself Id like to just go to the track to have fun but as you know in some cases you have no choice but to fight. But I have came up this winter with a new logan to say to people I have somewhat became more of a christian when people get mad and cuss u out just tell them you are going to pray for them. Now if they start swingin first thats a whole total differnt story I have never swung first at none rather it be at the track school, huntin club,my house, ect but I have calmed my temper down alot I have also learned not to hold a grudge againest anyone that just makes the situation worse than it really is. I hope everyone has a nice year next season lets everyone try not to fight unless u have to.
thanks,
Shotgun
