I was told at work tonight that Denny H bought South Boston speedway and is turning it into a dirt track in 07... is there any truth to this or any site that I can go to read about it? I know there are several nascar drivers that are involved in ownership of tracks, so this didnt really surprise me. Any information would be appreciated.

Lord Man All I care about is watching a good race --and Tony Stewart can do that!!!Nope Michael when I met Both of those guys and believe me--personally counts with me. Lil E had a bad one towards the fans (lil people) Tony was different. He cared.I like a person that cares about helping others on and off the track and I see it with my own eyes.I do watch and hear what goes on around me.Lil E used alot of bad words around those lil kid.Sometimes a little of RESPECT goes A LONG WAY to win a fan.:DontKnow:

I'm checking into this rumor to see if it's true or not. When I hear back, I'll let ya'll know.

Oh, and to my knowledge, he's never raced a dirt car, but back at the Prelude, he did get out in a wrecker and make laps at Eldora.

As much as I would love to believe that South Boston or SouthHampton has been bought and is going dirt I really think this is one of those crazy off season rumors.

South boston already has there schedule for next year post and its still gonna be pavement
