Okay, i go to garner Senior high and i just had to make this a post. today at 2:00, they made a anouncement over the intercom, "TEACHERS LOCK ALL DOORS AND NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO LEAVE THIS IS A LOCK DOWN, IT IS NOT A DRILL." We were freakin out. Turns out they say a student brought a gun to school, us the students do not know if it is gang related or if it is just a student tired of something. They have had So many cops. They made teachers put Green papers in the door to make sure every student in the classroom was fine. Helicopters are present now, plenty of cops and everything, and of course they had on there lil' vest's. So i figured i would make this a post. O yea, it was very serious as far as i have heard.

No, just got hoem, they wouldnt let anyone leave untill they made sure it was okay, they kept cops at all doors and made teachers assits students to busses.

the worst part is we have no idea what happened, u have all these students in the classrooms callen parents and everything, i guess we will find out any new news on monday.

I bet that Garner school resource officer tazzed that young man..Garner Pd likes to take pride in the fact they were the first police department to supplement tazors as it's nonlethal weapon against crime.

I remember those good old days back when i was in high school several years ago..Their were always a dozen or so of us that kept rifles and shotguns on gun racks in our trucks. You won't see those days no more.

yea that was the good ole days we use to that too shoot a deer in the mornin b4 school still have the ole shotgun behind the seat or in the toolbox them days are gone i been scared ever since i got a ticket for a lil pocket knife on school grounds so im certainly not ever carryin my gun wit me anymore

Where you have a city that is growing as much as Raleigh you will have this kind of things.. The parent are to blame just as much as the kid.. The reason we have the crime that we do in schools that we do is because they (The System) Have took away the rights to make your children mind. Mainly good ole fashion ass whipping.. If the law would allow it, I would tell the teacher to whoop his ass and send him home, so I can do it too..

Some parent theses days let there kids roam to freely, Way to much freedom, out until 1:00 am in the morning etc..etc.. I have a 16yr old Daughter and she thinks that because some of her friends are out at 12 and 1 in the morning that she should be able to do it.. WRONG... She is home by 11:00 on the weekends and straight home after school, bed by 10:00 She don't like it but though **** I say..:HighFive:

that's how my momma and deddy are and sometimes i hate it but then again sometimes i know i'd be better off at home. if stayed out till 1 or 2 on the weekends (except at the race, that's totally different) then i'd end up in some kind of trouble. sometimes i manage to get into that at the tracks.

Exactly RJ, I got two lil girls.....yeah, all us country boys had our shot guns in the truck with us at school, we all carried pocket knives....never was no shootin or cuttin unless it was a deer or ole squirrell....these kids aint gotta bita up bringing, then you got the ones runnin the wrong crowd....we keep our girls playing ball and try to teachem better. Talked to a buddy of mine the other day, his son is in school where we went, he had to go up there, said they was some kinda disrespectful and looked like a buncha prostitutes runnin around. :No:

i know i have stayed out partyin later than 3 am and got in trouble i know now that it is best to be at home at a earlier time. If I wouldnt have been out drinkin and all I never would have got in trouble but I learned my lesson mayb the hard way but I learned it I would advise teens my age to not stay out so late u can get in trouble wit cops ur parents get hurt or someone crazy out there like Micheal said may try to do sumthing to u the bad thing about it is it all aint just late at nite bad things happen it can happen in the broad day light people are mean nowdays and folks my age or younger need to really watch out for those kind of people.

:icon_gun: Yeah ya'll r so right.It's not just schools either.Wal-mart is getting bad.The gangs hang out there all the time.On the news you hear about people shooting moms with their children at a Wal-Mart.That use to be a gang thing.
