My First Christmas In Heaven

I see the countless Christmas trees around the World below,
With tiny lights, like heaven's stars reflecting on the snow,
The sight is so spectacular! Please wipe away that tear,
For I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this Year,

I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,
But the sound of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring,
For it is beyond description to hear the angles sing,

I know how much you miss me. I see the pain inside your heart,
But I am not so far away. We really aren't apart.
So be happy for me dear ones. You know I hold you dear,
And be glad I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I send you each a special gift from my heavenly home above.
I send you each a memory of my undying Love.
After all " Love" is a gift, more precious than pure Gold.
It was always most important in the stories Jesus told.

Please love and keep each other, as my Father said to do,
For I can't count the blessings or love He has for you.
So, have a joyous Christmas and wipe away that tear.
Remember, I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I read this poem the other night thinking of the loved ones that have passed on in the past. I never thought that it would apply to my Grandaddy this Christmas.

My mother-n-law passed away 6 months ago this past Sunday. Her birthday would have been this past Saturday(Dec. 16th).This will be my wife Gina's first Christmas without her and has been hard on her already and it will only get worse as Christmas day gets closer. My father-n-law read this very poem aloud to the family saturday night as we were all gathered together for Christmas.Needless to say,it was a tough day for everyone. Some of you know Gina and some do not,but my wife is deaf and grew up counting on her mother to help thru everything. They were very close to each other and it has been a rough year on her.Finding out her mother had cancer, finding out that the chemo was not helping, and then facing the fact that her mother was dying a slow, painful death. It was hard on us all,but very hard on Gina and her sister.Keep her in your prayers and everyone make sure to spend time with your family at Christmas if possible. You never know how long they will be around.

My Mother passed away on Christmas day 5 years ago. This poem came to me through and Email from a friend. It touched my Hart that Christmas, so I saved it and every year around this time I pull it out and Post where I think it might touch someone like it did me.
My wifes Mother Passed away Yesterday down in South Carolina, I think it will be read at her funeral Thursday.
If you would Please Keep Us in your Prayers This Christmas,Its gonna Be another Rough one.
Thanks
