Stock Car racers who want to try their hand on the high banks at Daytona and Homestead or the 12 hour road course at Sebring and other famous tracks need to check out the V8 StockCar series.

V8 StockCar is a point championship road racing series running in conjunction with the Sports Car Club Of America at some of North America's best race tracks, including Daytona, Sebring, Homestead, Road Atlanta, VIR, and Roebling Road.

There are two classes for stock cars for 2007:

V8 Stock Car (SC) Super late models, Ex Nextel Cup Cars, Busch, Hooters, All Pro etc. with up to 800 HP. These run on 15x10 wheels, stock car rubber and use blade spoilers. They are 190 plus mph capable at Daytona.

V8 Late Model (LM): Super late model or late models, ex ASA Cars, etc. with
up to 358 ci motors making about 500 hp, included are the ASA LS1 motors with some upgrades. These cars are 175 mph capable at Daytona.

Oval track late models can be easily converted to road course ready relatively inexpensively.

The series has contingency awards from Goodyear, Sunoco, DRP, HRP World, and Raceengineering available.
