MOORESVILLE, N.C. (November 17) - One of the most exciting fan participation events in any form of sports launches its new business campaign this weekend when the Race 'N Ride racing experience unveils a new fleet of dirt late model cars at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, N.C. Unlike other types of 'ride along' events where motorsports fans are given rides in various types of racecars, Race 'N Ride brings a new meaning to the fans' racing experience. Fans are allowed to purchase rides in the sleek dirt late model stock cars in simulated race conditions in which two cars are on the track in high speed side-by-side dirt slinging action. While the fans are safely and securely strapped into the passenger side of these awesome two-seat machines, veteran drivers are behind the wheel racing inches apart from one another with the passenger feeling the full sensations in the ride of their lives.

Race 'N Ride's business concept is the brainchild of Randy Briggs and wife Mary Ward, each who have experienced decades of business success in the motorsports industry. Briggs, a former NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver, feels that the Race 'N Ride experience brings fans even closer to their favorite sport and stars of the racing industry. "As those who have already participated in our initial events will tell you, Race 'N Ride is truly an experience of a lifetime," says Briggs. "Once the simulated race is over the fans don't want to get out of the cars, they love it that much that they want to keep going out on the track."

The Race 'N Ride racing experience currently fields four dirt late model cars with two going on to the racetrack at one time, enabling the Race 'N Ride pit crew members and safety staff to attend to the participants who have completed previous laps and prepare for the next two participants to go out on the track. All of the action is captured on DVD via in-car cameras and at the conclusion of the event; participants have the opportunity to purchase the video copy of their Race 'N Ride racing experience, including various camera angles. Additional merchandising items will be available to participants once the 2007 Race 'N Ride Dirt Fan Tour kicks off in January.

Saturday's event at Carolina Speedway offers the general public 4-lap or 8-lap Race 'N Ride racing experiences with the activity beginning at 9 a.m. and scheduled to continue until 2 p.m. Individuals must be 18 years of age or older with valid identification to participate with their choice of Race 'N Ride experiences costing $44.00 or $88.00 (Cash or major credit cards are accepted). Advance tickets may be purchased by calling (877) 241-RACE or at the Official web site www.racenride.com General questions may be directed to the Race 'N Ride staff by calling (704) 658-1000.
